Subject: Stadium Build Ratios?

2007-12-05 13:21:04
ok, not the same thing really but some ppl would just prefer to hear a 2nd opinion or see some sort of proof to go along with the statement.

Also, someone who you would consider a "respected forum user", others may not.

I'd rather take the info from a respected forum user than some random guy who's pretending to know.

As for that statement, i'm not sure if that was aimed at me but if it was, LOL
2007-12-05 13:23:07
Nah, it wasn't. It was aimed at minkee. He's posted a reasonable amount of "knowledge" lately, some of it is questionable at best. I don't think posting opinion as fact is going to help newer users, and that's basically the whole thing that worries me about this.

Anyway, you are right about respected users, so I guess people need to build their own little list of users they believe. Minkee won't be on mine.
2007-12-05 13:24:58
or see some sort of proof to go along with the statement - no need to put it bold, since you did not give proove at all ... reading the rules helps many times ...

@naughty: was just joking. i respect you bro;-)
2007-12-05 13:34:09
I stuck in bold cuz woppa missed it the first time around :P

Also, I did give proof, plz read through the posts again ;)
2007-12-05 13:35:39
You can't offer proof for it. You just can't.
2007-12-05 13:35:45
ahh it´s woppa. new nick?
why that?
2007-12-05 13:36:54
I know... just pulling your leg :))
2007-12-05 13:38:13
He goes out at night, stands in the same place and then gets taken home by a stranger, every night, at the same time, and he's called Sgt. Podge.

Seriously.

And then I eat my breakfast and go to sleep next to the radiator.
2007-12-05 13:41:20
err I can and I did.
I guess I could've altered the figures to make it look how I wanted to. Whether or not anyone believes the proof I put forward is up to them but I did give the proof.
2007-12-05 13:52:00
I seem to have missed one of your posts as I was answering another and I think we may have got a lil mixed up here.

I want to clarify that the proof I have given is just for the price of the tickets of seats under cover behind the goals and has nothing to do with the perfect setup for building a stadium.

I gave my opinion on how to build up a stadium earlier in the thread and I also put in that post that it was just my opinion :)

See that's all cool, but it's still not proof. Here's my proof, in the same format as yours, that the corners are along the lines:

along the lines - seats under cover: 24000*£5.25=£126,000.00
behind the goal - seats under cover: 12000*£4.50=£54,000.00

total spectators = 36,000
total ticket income = £180,000.00
income from a friendly in the same week=£12545

and from my economy page from last week:
from tickets: 192 545 £
2007-12-05 14:09:12
no need to prove the obvious imo...
2007-12-05 14:22:56
well I did say whether or not anyone believes the proof is up to them :P

Anyone can put false information up as you have just shown and even a screenshot can be tampered with and I now get the point you made earlier about believing a user.
I guess the only real way of knowing for sure would be to build the stadium up yourself to find out how much you get from them.

If enough ppl tell you the same thing though, most ppl will start to believe that as I believed that the corners were behind the goal from asking myself when I first started playing and enough ppl telling me they were behind the goal.
Never really thought about it since I first asked but its nice to know they were correct :)

what is obvious to some, aint to others.

If woppa was to say his figures are correct and I said mine were correct, how would someone with no stands under cover know who was telling the truth ?
2007-12-05 22:50:36
wow that went a bit off subject during my sleep...

If someone tell me it's right I always ask why it's right. Vogue provided me the complete answer that's all...

Can we go back on the subject and let the respected forum users contribute nicely?
