Join the first Marco van Basten Trophy.
start tournament: next week after Ajax Amsterdam is out of cup
number of teams: best 8-12 teams (max possible) who pre-subscribed (see below)
kind of matches: friendly, single matches, no returns
prizes
1st place - one year plus
2nd place - half year plus
3rd place - three months plus
Prizes are sponsored by Marco van Basten, team Ajax Amsterdam
best team selection
When there are more pre-subscribed than possible to join, the next requirements will count to make the final selection:
- team national ranking points (most important)
- average team rating in last 3 friendly matches (important)
- number of teams of same country who pre-subscribed (least important)
Winner of the last Marco van Basten Trophy will automaticly be accepted as participant
Important rules about the matches
- The tournament is only for teams who like to play real matches.
- It is not allowed to play in a 'injury-free' formation just to prevent injuries.
- It is also not allowed to 'forget' your formation or tactics.
- The pitch needs to be at least 50% maintained.
Any of these will lead into disqualification including loose of any prizes
WE WILL START AFTER NEXT WEDNESDAY SO DON'T ARRANGE YOUR FRIENDLY AFTER THIS ONE
