I'm in for the 5th time, but my team is weaker than last year and my best hope is to get to 4th round I think.

3rd time for me. 1st time 3rd round, 2nd time 4th round so i hope to qualify for the 5th round this time!

Don't expect to take trophy this seasson, but it would be nice to make third semifinal in row

well, marks could be really misleading when talking about strenght of the playing squad having in mind that pace is much less important for rating of the defenders compared to their sideskills and the effect of defensive actions for offensive players (wingers and attackers) which rating could be seriously lowered with few missed tackles. Imo, every team having 5 nice defs, world class winger, 2 x divine attacker and decent mids could hope for a suprise against any team.

well, depending on what are You considering as a nice def (for me it's at least 2 x divine with sum of subskills >= 33) ;)

I just wanted to point out that marks system could be quite misleading when speaking about team strength, just check some NT matches and You'll see that +5 in rating doesn't mean much.

For instance, this two players are playing in the similar position, their mark could be quite close but difference between them is more then obvious:

a)
excellent stamina, unsatisfactory keeper
superdivine pace, formidable defender
superdivine technique, brilliant playmaker
divine passing, solid striker

worst mark in last 10 games: 75

b)
formidable stamina, tragic keeper
magical pace, formidable defender
magical technique, outstanding playmaker
brilliant passing, good striker

best mark in last 10 games: 73

it's quite impossible if their form were similar

this better one was in bad form propably

and about those marks: 5xdefs like You said (marks ~65), 2 atts and wing (marks ~80) and 2 decent mids (marks 70) + gk 90 would give avarage marks 72

well, second player was in slightly better form, but like I've already said, defensive actions can have a huge impact on winger rating...

here are two matches of my ex-player, his form was high all the time and his defender skill is at lvl 7 (good)...

rating 72, def 15%
rating 92, def 0%

no, that kind of ranking doesn't exist

When the matches are going to be scheduled? next monday to play on thursday?
