the beauty of Asistente was its online and no installation needed i really hope devs of sokker will do something :(
what is a point to block online version if there is workaround with local solution :(

By the way, I found a "good" solution, but it will take some days to be developed: when clicking in "update", you will download an app that will login to Sokker and will send the data to the server. What do you think?
Excellent!! I will be waiting for that

Success for me, with some minor difficulties.(It took about 5 minutes)
=====================================
My system: W7 Home Premium SP1
Minor difficulties:
1. I needed some time to realize where to put the modified
<Environment name="path" value="C:\\home\\asistente\\" type="java.lang.String" override="false"/>
...sure... it is on the three lines we had to add according to instructions, #4. ;P
2. # 8 on instructions (Go to http://localhost:8080/sokker/asistente) was for me not clear enough. I searched first on TomCat... you see, I have no idea about TomCat... LOL... then I inserted http://localhost:8080/sokker/asistente on my browsers address (browser Vivaldi) and the screen is still black...
Then I tried on Firefox and voila!
I had a page, but login failed...
Then I logged again and I was in!!!
But where are the players???
Even when I clicked on juniors, the same thing, where are my juniors???
Then I entered again login and pass and clicked on Update and something changes:
and after some more seconds there was a message on the top
.. but still no players... till I had the idea to change language!
Terrion, it works and I thank you!
However I believe for many users it is complicated. So I am looking forward to your next "good" solution (download an app that will login to Sokker and will send the data to the server)

Terrion, I appreciate your time and your skills! - Tsolias :)

Omg!!!! Terrion you are the best!!! But tsolias you deserve big beeeeeeeeer!!!!!
That's why I posted every single detail, for you, to get it done! ;P
Damn, I have a Chrome Book (work laptop), still no updating players possible :/
Jurro, Terrion is commited to sokker, so I do my best to serve him, like he serves us all. :)

Terrion, on update, I noticed that training data from week 0 (Round 0) should be on next line, but it isn't..

Charles, perhaps you can make it with portable applications. Portable java, portable tomcat and portable firefox. No installation needed - just download and extract on usb-stick, then configure and finally plug usb on your work laptop and start the portable applications.
You are great, tsolias :)

Linux.
I have installed Tomcat 9.0.45 but with Java 11.something.
Followed the other instructions.
Going to http://localhost:8080/sokker/asistente gives me the perfect login page
BUT
I cannot login (mensaje=login_error&error=1 on my web browser).
It can be a Java problem (not 8 version)?
Or what Could I try?

Ain, on my pc it always fails on the first attempt (message: session expired) and I try it immediately again and it works. It works always! (See my screens, above)
