Subject: Sokker Asistente
> The Tomcat thing isn't working anymore?
Mmm maybe in the last update I incorporated the CORS detection. It's not easy to mantain two different versions of the same app
-----------------
I just tested the CORS plugin for Firefox... Maybe it's not that bad to have a plugin. Just click on the icon and activate or desactivate it. Works perfectly:
Edit: I've seen that the same pluig is available for every browser:
https://mybrowseraddon.com/access-control-allow-origin.html
Edit2: the Opera plugin version is missing but Chrome version works on Opera

Terrion,
today I could not update on Asistente's server (on http://www.formulamanager.com/sokker/asistente#) by using Cors-method, because server still blocked (Error number 6).
However I could update localy (on http://localhost:8080/sokker/asistente) with Tomcat.
I want to help a friend with the instalation of Tomacat, but the instructions on www.formulamanager.com/sokker/asistente are gone! Will you please repost them?
---------------------------
Btw, on your pic: It's on http://localhost:8080/sokker/asistente . Do we need Cors-addon/Cors-method for the local Tomcat-method??!
I got a little bit confused with your last post..
---------------------------
PS:
I reported on 2021-04-26 21:44:34 (link) about training data from week 0 (Round 0), that should be on next line.
Now the line (and the age) finally changed:
(actual screenshot from local version of Asistente, with Tomcat running, without any Cors-plugin)

Yes, an admin told me yesterday he was going to unblock it... but it's still blocked. I wrote Raul again today. What can I say? I don't know why it's being so slow to let us work again :(

The instructions are inside your account. However I will add an entry in the FAQ on how to make a clean installation
> Do we need Cors-addon/Cors-method for the local Tomcat-method??!
Yeah, it has no sense. I will add a condition to disable it in localhost. There's no need to maintain 2 versions :P

Yeah, I keep the data you sent me. It seems only a presentation failure, I think we can live with it while I work on finishing the FAQ and begin with the Android App, which can be very much useful

An android app would be perfect. I don't use pc anymore .
Great job Terrion !!!
Great job Terrion !!!
I have updated sokker.war so that it doesn't require CORS on localhost
Will it work with Tomcat? Or I need to do the CORS browser thing?
Both of them should work - Tomcat right now, CORS as soon as the server IP is unblocked

- The first version had a problem for NT coaches when one player was on sale
- The version of yesterday I think had the CORS check incorporated
- The version of today has everything fixed
All of them should let you login and show your team, at least
I don't why your version stopped working, I don't remember reading your description of the problem

Is it possible to use online version without cors browser disabled pls
That could cause a server IP blocking again... While Sokker requires it that's how it must work
What's your concern about the CORS disabling?
What's your concern about the CORS disabling?
I have used CORS Unblock addon for Chrome and I use it to upload data and its working great :)
