I think that every junior should get out with tragic stamina or something like that.. It's really stupid to loose skills like that..

Maybe not tragic, but unsatisfactory.
Same with goalkeeping.

tragic stamina => better other skills => better overall players => not an option because devs don't want better players

A poor excuse if you want to improve the game. I can't believe I'm saying this but I prefer that they lower the talent of the players if they don't want "better players"
At least we would receive good players from the school...

I prefer faster training.

There has to be a better alternative though.

Make youth schools no longer suck, but stop advanced training at twenty eight at max , for example. Like, you literally get no value.
It's not like I enjoy having a bunch of random Polish players on my team. I would love to train my own country's players. But it makes no financial sense whatsoever. Moreover I can't afford to do it even if I wanted to.

The only thing the current youth school system results in, is picking financial winners and losers for no good reason.

A scenario where YS is self-sufficient for the needs of even strong teams is going to create a totally different game and I don't think I will like it. It will be less manager game and more tactical, you don't need to generate money, your resources come almost for free from the YS.

More feasible idea could be an option to buy good juniors - for example, you pay 500k-1m for a 16yo good junior. The other variables - talent, weeks, distribution - remain random. It shouldn't guarantee very good players or in general be cheaper than browsing the market because it will give an edge to people who can afford it. Just an option for people who insist on having their own juniors on the team. Such tool would also raise the average level of the players, but to a lesser extent and in the meantime it would burn money which will appeal to devs

That's an interesting concept.

I think there will always be a struggle between old teams and old money, and actual new user and game growth. The best selling point of this game is tactics. Reducing the financial disparity will certainly be offensive to some, but I'm not sure how the product grows when teams have dramati head starts.

Making rich clubs even richer, good idea.

The only good thing about YS system is that it's purely random and totally unfair: poor can get rich with luck. Like any lottery.

Which is why I dislike it, if some team gets a bit more than I do, fine,

But I get nothing since I've started...and there is nothing worth anything money wise in my school at present either .

And how about TL in youth school?
Powerful teams could bid for youth players in training (before the distribution of skills)
2024-07-13 19:06:13
Sure, distribution is unfair. Devs last YS plans should resolve this.

You missed the most important part - on average it should not be cheaper than buying players from the market.

So if expected market value of 16 yo good junior joining YS in week X is €500k, the price should be higher than that.

Just a luxory option for anyone who is really keen on playing with homegrown players.

But it is complicated calculations and devs won't do it so its not worth discussing.

Interesting idea at first glance.

But I would not buy junior from the market even with a talent screen. I would assume, for example, that the seller is watching the youth matches and noticed that this junior had very low speed and thats why he is selling him

You can't become a rich team with some good juniors imo. Mediocre management will let the advantage of some extra millions fade away very soon... At the end the clubresult in the longterm is the result of the managerskills, not of some lucky shots (if there are some).
