Discord only if you're gamer.
Otherwise, you don't use it

Right, all platforms are good for promotion, but ...

...but, left

In your experience, developers and people in charge of Sokker, read BUG forum?
2024-08-06 14:54:49
They probably don't but I read it and if I see something worth passing to devs I do so, however usually I would have to respond "it's known problem, probably will be fixed someday in the future" so in many cases I just read and do not reply, but in case of 2 problems you mentioned in your bug report it's the "known problem" kind
2024-08-06 17:22:45
Yes of course is known.. What I wanted to know is why they don't do something about it, It seems it's something easy to fix in relation of how bad it looks. Not explaining why they can't or no giving some idea of how much time should we wait or something like that transmits a lot of carelessness.

1. Human resources are scarce
2. There are A LOT of more important matters to take care
3. Those pages are old pages what works to their disadvantage because instead of fixing X minor issues on old pages it will be better to do nothing and the problems will resolve themselves when those old pages will be remade into new pages.
2024-08-06 18:31:40
1,2,3...we do nothing, we listen nobody, we don't care about users, we don't talk users, we act as we died...we want money and do nothing. Sounds promissing

I disagree, we all know here that Sokker is a great game, with many variables that makes the game interesting and entertaining.

But that doesn't mean that you don't have to take care of the outside game, the details and the marketing or what you "see." For some reason this game has decreased in popularity. And if you don't take care of the "ugly" screens because "some" day a new one will replace it, In my opinion, people won't stay. (New people)

The usual ones, yes, but the people who come in for the first time, and see unfinish screens they'll think game is moreless abandoned.

The game just like that, with the youth school and its system training and other things people complains about, works well. There may be better formulas, better optiones, I'm sure there , but the game as it is has a lot of users playing for YEARS, so am sure there are more good things than bad things.

But the new user, who is recruited, will not have complaints about the youth system or training, they will stay because of the induction to the game, the easy-going of getting introduce to the gameplay and that the screens work well and are friendly to the eye.

New people, new users = more money. More money = no more "you can't invest because it's expensive."

Whoever criticizes the youth school will continue paying the same extra as always, the new user who enters the game is MORE money to invest. In the short term you have to give priority to growing the number of users and the consolidation of those and THEN focus on what I assume you consider most important (that maybe is not correlated with MORE money), because there in the medium term they could have a lot of profits to invest quickly and efficiently in that. With the decreasing income curve that they (owners) probably have at this rate, they will not be able to make the development reforms they need and the ugly "screen" will always remain ugly.

This must be seen and managed as a business and made profitable, the only way to satisfy the requirements of old and new users in the medium term.

My comments are not in complaint mode or devaluing the work that you and others do, they are constructive criticism. I remember when the game had more than 40 thousand users and I would like it to grow again, but game should adapt and self-criticize to grow.

To be simple

1. Human resources are scarce When there's no money
2. There are A LOT of more important matters to take care When there's no money to attend everything, or the perfect excuse
3. Those pages are old pages what works to their disadvantage because instead of fixing X minor issues on old pages it will be better to do nothing and the problems will resolve themselves when those old pages will be remade into new pages. Theres no money

Conclusion: Answer the question of How can we do to have more money? Problem solved

There is no potential for new users and they don’t have money/time/resources to concentrate on small details. It’s time people accept that this game won’t improve much and the changes will be small and very slow.

This game is basically drifting between dead and alive and it won’t change. Most users are inactive since years, just keeping their teams and doing bare minimum.

Fixing old small bugs won’t give you any money, it will only generate expenses / slow down more important changes

This game has 70 000 users at one point, problem is that almost nobody cares about games like this anymore.

That’s problem 1: nobody wants to play outdated browser managers

Problem 2: the game is fucked up because there’s a difference between old and new users that’s impressible to reach even after many years of playing

Problem 3: the layout is terrible and people who see this game leave after 5 seconds

Problem 4: the UI is not intuitive, new users don’t even know where to find tactics and that they can move the ball etc

Problem 5: this game is unwatchable at low level

Even when 1000 new people register, 990 of them will leave during first 3 visits, most won’t even log in twice

So.... if SK was the business you lived from, what would you do?
2024-08-06 19:01:02
You either commit to it properly or you sell it. What you don't do is half-arse it and let the game drift into oblivion.

Hey, funny that there's somutch negativity.
I hardly ever read international forum, only Belgium forum.

I play this game since 2006 and I have'nt any complaints. I think the new screens are great and not terrible.
I still love the game after all these years.

If any work from IT specialists (devs) should be done it would be:
1. Match engine;
2. Shorten injuries in time.

But overall it's a great game, congratulations in stead of all negativity in this forum ;)
