Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!
After the last time when i burned tons of money trying to recruit at least magical trainer and was not able to. I wont do that again.
Instead i bought a 33yo magical, its cheaper to buy them than to recruit them.
I made my peace with not having unearthly coach. Simply not possible. Never had one, so will live with it.
And that's all what Sokker is about too. How much are you willing to pay for tiny better coach, tiny better players, .... Is paying 4 M to get a coach who is 2% better a smart move? Difficult!

the wage reform didn't affect coaches, right? So high keeper skill still is responsible for high coach wages, and the wage isn't a linear indicator for high subskill in general coach level?
This change of coaches is terrible.
Basically what is happening is that you are forcing the users to spend more money, which is difficult to make a financial profit anyway.
The coach transfer market, which is already high, will jump in price even more
Unearthly coach , from a value of 12 million+- dollars will jump to 20 and more .
Normal magical trainers will be even more difficult to buy and will require an investment of millions!!
I'm not even talking about the lottery of coaches. I once wasted 3 million euros to try to get a normal Unearthly /good Magical trainer and I wasn't even close!!! Never doing it again.
terrible!!!

about coaches? wouldnt be good to include a plot on the efectivness of the coach according to the level so everybody has an idea of what they are really hiring? similar to what you did with fan's mood
For me it’s fun factor of training plus lack of interest in playing for results with my club.
In Poland there is a stupid cycle where if you want to play for trophies for at least a couple of season you have to train in low leagues, make money, buy top trainees, improve them to top level.
Then you play for 83+ for a couple of season, you burn all the money you got, at one point team gets too weak to compete, you sell and go to low leagues to regain money. I did it twice, don’t really see anything fun in that.
That sounds bad and also makes the game slower than it is, cause in your budget you have like 1 year or 2 of real time life to compete

The changes in this game remind me of the changes that Fidel Castro made in Cuba to improve our lives. Everything he did ended up messing up something that wasn't broken before.

I totally 100% get this, and I'm sorry for folks who suffer through this like you.
If I had been Polish instead of American, I'd have quit as soon as I understood how pointless competing is.

Rules for coaches' retirement:
• The risk of announcing the decision to retire will occur when a coach turns 60.
• At this age (60), the risk of such a decision is very small but it increases with each passing season, and the chance of continuing after 85 or 90 will already be slim.
• The decision to retire will also be influenced by the measure of success achieved.
• If your coach is successful - as measured by meeting season expectations - he will be less likely to leave.
• If, on the other hand, the season is judged a complete failure - the coach may be discouraged from taking on further challenges and more likely to retire.
• Information about retirement, will appear in an announcement in the Pressroom on the first Saturday of the new season - a dedicated notice to any coach who makes this decision.
• In the last week of the season in the Pressroom, there will also be an info confirming the retirement of the coach.
• Coaches who announce their retirement will no longer be put on the transfer list - neither after being fired by the user nor after retirement.
Recruitment changes for coaches:
• No changes will be made to the recruitment form at this time. Nor is such a change planned in the near future.
• However, the age range of new coaches will change - previously it was 33 to 66 years, which will be replaced by 40 to 59 years.
• The age of the new coach will be random within this range and any value equally probable.

Seriously?
Instead of focusing on fixing what's already broken in this game, it seems all your efforts are going towards making it even worse. Please, stop this. If you truly want to improve the game, we can provide a list of things that should at least function correctly—because right now, they don’t. Rather than fixing these issues, it feels like you're just breaking the game even more.
Now, with coaches retiring, there’s no mention of increasing the chances of getting a level 16 trainer from the trainers page. You're taking something away without giving anything back. What’s the point of retiring coaches? Many teams with decent staff (level 15-16) have invested significant resources (time and in-game currency) into building their staff. Most teams in Sokker have trainers averaging over 65 years old, and this new "feature" will put a lot of users in a really difficult situation.
If your goal is to completely ruin this amazing game, just say it straight up instead of wasting our time. Many of us have been playing for over a decade, and we’re still here because we love the "old Sokker," not because of these "new features." In my humble opinion, these changes will drive away long-time players, and the game's owners will find themselves in a tough spot. The "new generation" isn't joining Sokker at the pace the old one did, and they’re unlikely to stick around as long as we have.
Thanks for nothing. Bravo!

Users: The game is dying, do something
Devs: OK
Users: No! Not that! Don't change anything that let me get rich and win things!
Self-interested moaners.
