Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

2024-08-23 02:36:23
But the difference before and after the changes is significant. And it will only get bigger and bigger if there is more money coming in than going out. If finances are now balanced (I suppose they're not) the current state its not that bad but what if prices are double in few years and double again after that? Will inflation always be good?

From a newcomer's perspective, the best way to get money out of the game is just that. Their coaches are cheap and easy to recruit. The more direct method - cutting ticket money - would have hit them harder.

Transfer ad not allowed

Just pull them..... easy as f..... Ive pulled over 15 magicals (since 2 breaks from game where I needed to trim expenses to My inaktive bankroll) .... I didnt use more then 200 tries

200 tries with 7x15 settings isnt more then around 6 m eu and should give you coaches for at least another 15 real life.... more unlucky then me, I dont believe but lets call the expenditure 10 m eu on 10 real life years

It will drive only huge money away from those crackheads thinking they need unearthly main coach and assistants so the prices on top end talents trainees might fall which is needed

Inflation is not the problem lack of quality players is..and all changes are to train harder...

To much money on hands of hardcore training teams is the reason for high prices on talents

If we could revert the competitive versus training problem, older players will raise in value and trainees fall a slight bit... put wage on youngsters according to transfer price to drain training profit, put more price money and international tourneys in to feed competitive state playing, and more changes in that way

It will give more money For training a player since competitive players would cost more, but balanced with wage drain on talents costing more 500 k eu and more will remove the extra profit

yes, how to make sk competitive again?. agree with your proposals, it will help a lot

please make positive changes. I am not against changes like retiring old coaches but these changes works just to fine tune the economy

Disagree. Inflation is a problem to some extent if it’s left unchecked. Some inflation is good though as for fixed prices these become quicker to get to and afford as has been discussed. Lack of quality players is again a perception by players. If there are now fewer triple sds then those that were previously deemed rubbish instantly become better. You might not like it but “quality” is relative. If the best you could get was formidable then they would be quality players, just not quality on what you are used to. The issue is less around quality but more around users unwillingness to accept anything less than ideal/perfect.

Same as with this implementation. It’s fine and needed. Money needs to come out of the game and this adds another money sink besides simply players. You don’t need unearthly coaches, it’s nice to have sure but it’s not mandatory. You can get away with a single unearthly skill if you had to and just train the old way. Alternatively assistants don’t need to be unearthly. Many ways to go about it.

Also one season is like 3-4 real life months. It’s definitely manageable and if it’s not I question what you’ve been doing financially. It does hurt for those recruiting in like the past season but we’ve known this was on the table for over a season now easily.

Hahaha all... I have a 33 yo old coach 4 skills from 8x16.... go hate me
2024-08-23 03:35:13
They have players BMI over 10 years too... ;/

Except they haven’t said they were working on that anytime in the past few years and there’s no change in that space being released in the next season. Stupid thing to say.

They said if you were on forums at least 12 months ago (mean happy to be told that it was less or more than that) that coach retirement was being looked at and would be implemented. Whilst we can argue around thinking it would be 70+ rather than 60+ when the first chance occurs the explanation for why they went the way they did seems to make sense.

I am impacted by this in the sense I likely have a number of coaches I’ll need to rehire but it’s something I’ve at least planned for. I’ve held off this season waiting for how retirement was going to work.

Unfortunately the fact we’re seeing all these “negative” changes without too many positive ones is disappointing but these “negative” ones for the most part I think will work out for the better long term, just might need some tweaking (eg the seasonal expectations I find rough in it’s current state)

Clearly the priority has been in trying to take money out of the game in every direction, and to also reduce the stale end of game state sokker was sitting in. Not saying I agree with everything but I understand the justification for doing what they’re doing.

Yeah,
at least in this Sokker is similar to real life.
The poor will get poorer, the rich will get richer.
2024-08-23 06:44:37
Why do you think that for this case? I think poorer teams aren’t running with 5x unearthly coaches anyway as they wouldn’t be able to afford it. Therefore this is clearly going to hurt the richer clubs trying to replace unearthly coaches every few real life years more.

Hopefully there are other things aimed at improving the state for newer users and sounds like there is thoughts and plans already.

This is simply trying to get the economic side back into some sort of control.

ok.If they really want that coaches retire, they should make to retire when coach have over 80y like in RL. At 70y its too early....
2024-08-23 07:49:53
They’ve explained why they didn’t go that high.
2024-08-23 11:28:34
I don't think it would be same for all - it's not same club having 250k, 2.5M, 25M, or 250M on account! And if you want to lecture me I don't even need 6x unearthly coach, give me a break! Noone actually need one and there is no problem at all! Your logic says it's better to hurt all, rich and poor as it is righteous to do so! Those clubs with 100y coaches... how much they did earn over 30 seasons having them 100M-1B? =) And pulling coaches costs us the same! That is the only same thing for us all after this change! It seems someone just starting should take compromise and get over obstacles all the time, and compete first after 3RL! It's a great reference - they should put it under Sokker logo - work in progress, have patience! Let us make changes this way so you can organise your club even slower - but it is better for you! Trust our logic: slow progress is good progress, fast is baaad! :) Look at all those happy faces playing Sokker over a decade! :)

Nobody makes you play, you can leave every moment that you want

This game works like that since many years, actually there was nothing changing for around a decade, now it improved

So if you don’t like it, don’t play
