I would like to reconfirm about what matters for the coaches.
Lets make a simple scenario. All players are trained in technique, for example.
These are my assumptions:
Main coach:
Overall skill does not matter. Only the skill that is trained matters, therefore technique. What i am not sure if 15.5 technique is considered as 15 or 15.5 for main coach. (Although there is no way to know where the coach is in range 15-15.9)
Assistant coach:
Only overall skill matters. If overall skill is 15.5, only 15 is considered (Therefore one can optimize for lower wages)
Junior coach:
Only overall skill matters. If overall skill is 15.5, only 15 is considered (Therefore one can optimize for lower wages)
Am i correct?

Yes, it's an objective fact that it improved. If new owners didn't invest the money into the game you wouldn't even be able to watch the game anymore.
And since 4 years there ARE changes being made so it is an improvement over ZERO changes during 10 years. Whether someone likes the changes or not is a different and subjective matter.

They didn't stop tycoon aspects of game, only managerial! I tried to achieve goals with my squad, not to re-sell team all over again.

Definition of "improved" is that it changed for better.
The fact that the display of ME was reworked did not make it better, it kept it alive.
Therefore if it improved is just a subjective matter. From my perspective it did not improve.

So in those regards only optimization you can do is with goalkeepers skill (for assistants and junior coaches). GK skill influences coach overall level the same way all 7 other skills do but is more expensive.

They made it harder to camp lower [I have 11/100 mood, lower sponsors and ticket money]
They also increased wages of top players and there are more in quantity / more significant injuries now which hurts top teams much more than others

Yes. It was always rumored to be the case (I remember from ~15 years ago when I last played sokker). And somewhere in between when I have started again there was a change so you can check it yourself. Efficiency is shown here when you click on a details:

Lecture you. Give me a break. Please go away calm down and then come back and reread. Nowhere was I lecturing anyone, i actually have sympathy for those that bought older coaches in the past season and I stated as much. However, this change has been coming a while and it’s been known it’s been coming a while if you keep up with the few threads where these have been discussed. We just didn’t know the specific detail until now in terms of age it would kick in at. I was also mentioning it isn’t going to hurt new/poor clubs more than the wealthy clubs anymore then it already does. I think people overreact because they’re not happy with the change and that’s understandable but I also think many haven’t really stopped to work out the bigger picture or who this really impacts mostly.
It’s not a bad change here. It’s not a wow how good is this change but it’s a good change that should help take money out of the game (mostly from those with money). That’s actually a good thing for teams with low money or still establishing themselves because that’s money that’s no longer going on trainees.

I’m not sure the more expensive the better necessarily. GK per point/skill increment is still weighted much more for wages than other skills so not all skills are equal there. Sun levels matter but an extra level of gk to say pace and all other skills unchanged and the one with higher pace is just as good as the gk one but has a lower wage. Problem is will be hard to determine which one is actually better as we don’t see sub levels of individual skills or general level.

Do not look at % shown there. These % don't take decimal parts in skills into account. For main coach it's just individual skill divided by 17 and rounded (for example unearthly is 16/17 = 0.9411 = 94%), and for assistants it's a sum of individual skills divided by 17*8 = 136. Based on that it would be possible to get magical coach with higher % as assistant than unearthly coach, for example:
- unearthly coach with individual skills 16.2 16.2 16.2 16.2 15.9 15.9 15.9 15.9 would be calculated as (16+16+16+16+15+15+15+15) / 136 = 91%
- magical coach with individual skills 16.2 16.2 16.2 16.2 16.2 16.2 16.2 14.0 would be calculated as (16+16+16+16+16+16+16+14) / 13 = 92%
...which would be stupid
