Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!
Some people simply can't understand how to make money in this game... others can't handle the ME stupidity.
I just saw your team and I see you play all matches with 2 players on field everybody else in a corner. Maybe that's fun for some users just waiting for trainees to become better and farm money but as a Soccer Manager competition I personally find it very boring.
I hope the game can separate training efficiency with the ability to compete

It's been unable to do so for almost 20 years. I wouldn't hold my breath.
Still, I don't see the use in having corner tactics for all games. 10 trainees, you could corner them in a friendly, play 5 in each league game for 22 minutes or so, risk of injury is very low. Compete with older players, or even cheap ones that if they get hurt, its irrelevant.

It's not worth it, I think 70-80k is max that makes sense.
I built mine years ago when the tickets had a fixed low price and you couldn't change it like now.

Problem is in stronger countries it doesn't make sense. If you invest in good youths and want good income / progress of players, you need to give them 97% at least, which is 34 minutes.
You can't expect to use five 16-18yo players for 34 minutes and win games regularly. So what's the point in trying to compete if you're going to lose anyway most of the times? You won't achieve anything, you won't go to higher leagues, while you will have to invest into players who will lose their value every season. It' really pointless.
In Poland you already have 4th level leagues [not teams] with average level of 64-65. Teams playing for 65-70. You can't expect to use five youths for almost half a game and hope for a good results, it just won't happen.
That's where being in a small country is much better. You can both have a strong team AND train youths at the same time, because you will be able to win anyway due to being much stronger than most of your opponents.
If I played with my 4th tier team in USA 1st tier, I would probably at least be in top 3 and with marginal investment I'd win every season, while being able to train. I could also create a team playing for 80+, compete in Champions Cup, while still making money on youths every season to counter the value loss of my players. In bigger countries it's impossible.

I would say that a small community is smaller than 20 users. In these communities I consider the following statement, I might be wrong but for me looks like:
Latvia has 10 users and xineon had a very strong team playing for over 80, top players.
A team from Liechtenstein (2 users) even won the Champions Cup

I lost interest in competition when I went to 1st division and my strikers lost too many 1v1 situations and my team conceded too many stupid goals, like "header outside the box". After some matches using "corner tactic" I built a weak squad in one week, only with players from central and south america and I got the same
performance that I had with a strong squad that was playing together for 2 seasons... Tactical discipline (team-work) and "finisher" skill are both useless, this ME is pretty stupid :p

I think that players skills should be shown in a larger scale, so we would be able to see "little improvements", I mean we could see the tenths or hundredths we cannot today.
My point is, training would be funnier with more "greens" every thursday.
+1 I find it boring too, but that's the reason I still play the game.

ME was good before 2012, when everybody could have beat much stronger teams easily with a good tactic.
The goal scoring totally random. I have the worst striker in our league and can score goals in the second division...
Moulay Souleymane Fall, age: 22
club: Hullámfarkasok, country: Sénégal
value : 141 450 000 Ft
wage: 1 470 000 Ft
outstanding [12] form
incredible [13] tactical discipline
height: 180 cm, weight: 73.5 kg, BMI: 22.69
bookings:
adequate [6] stamina tragic [0] keeper
magical [15] pace very good [9] defender
outstanding [12] technique solid [8] playmaker
solid [8] passing incredible [13] striker
Some weeks ago his technique and goalskill were lower with one level, and hit 24 goals at the second league, me needed to relegate without a good striker...

he scored 22 out of 134 shots [most] in your league
6 of them he scored against a team with rating 26 and GK who had a rating 11
4 he scored against team that used a safe tactic and he made 22 shots
another 3 he scored against a team with value 400k
nothing weird with that, it would be weird if he couldn't score against rating 11 team or a team that is using safe tactic and lets him have 22 shots

That's what I do, 22 minutes 5 players one match 22 minutes the other 5 the next match

Well my opinion about this.
At the match engine before 2012:
- You got more goals from heading option.
- The strikers didn't come across 2-3 defenders in front.
- Strikers easier move into the holes among the defenders.

Borkos is right... lower nations its easier to stay at top in. You have much better options to train at 96% for most of the season for good talents and only 1-2 weeks you need to play only a-team (maybe Even 22-24 yo trainees here) and still be in top 3...
You can be competitive And train at Max much easier in small countries
