Borkos is right... lower nations its easier to stay at top in. You have much better options to train at 96% for most of the season for good talents and only 1-2 weeks you need to play only a-team (maybe Even 22-24 yo trainees here) and still be in top 3...

You can be competitive And train at Max much easier in small countries

That does depend on the rest of the league though in terms of strength. If the league is fairly even then it’s not as easy as of the league isn’t even. In my case I could safely get away with trainees in league matches against perhaps 2-3 teams. The rest I’d be either losing the match or having to rely on rng a bit to get the win.

In general though it is a little easier because club ratings aren’t as high.

I have 8 trainees playing in my A-league matches and could beat everyone in your league...
It also depends on the level of trainees you have. Off course, if we're talking about U21 trainees, then you need to make a balanced decision on how much profit you want to make due to trainees and how far in the league you want to be. I have 3 U21 trainees, the rest is between 23 and 26. But...I'm very close to A-league level in my country.

That said...I think you have a decent team for playing only 4 years in a country like Australia. Patience is key in building your team.
I think I can say that your A-league is on a similar level to our 2nd league and to 3th or even 4th league in Poland.

I'd say it's rather around low 4th tier/high 5th tier level in Poland

Yeah I mean it’s easier to do what I did in the time I had given I’d played the game from 2005-2014 previously, so I knew what I was doing.

By trainees I was mostly referring to those 21 or under. I’d have some of my “trainees” as being in my 1st xi. Like a few of them are already in our NT side/squad.

Australia is a small country but it has just enough active users that our top league is ok. It’s still impacted because our div2 is empty of active users and has lots of bots which means sides coming up have less fans than those going down. So it’s not quite like areas with mostly bots in their top league thankfully but I still understand the issues these countries have because we still have an element of it.

An honest question...

What would you prefer the most?

A. The situation as it is now, with most active users on top leagues within your country, having bad bot teams which gives poor attendance and sponsorship with it, but easy access to training trainees of younger ages while being competitive.

B. Having very strong bot teams, similarly to the strong teams in other countries, BUT having also 4 or 5 different divisions and more sponsor income and revenue, so making it harder to get to top tier league, having it harder to train and being competitive and having active teams scattered over all divisions.

I’d go with option C, option B but with human users.

I’ll always take human users over bots so if o had to choose A or B I’d have to go A but from a mechanics perspective I’d rather B. Hence why I went for option C.

Reason I say that is there’s a challenge to get to the top and then again to stay there. Oh also get compensated with more money so you can then compete on an international level too much easier than under option A. I can also compete better on the transfer market if I had more money per week too. So yes option B is the better system by a long shot.

However, I play sokker for the community aspect so I’d always take users over anything else regardless of how bad the rest of the system is. I’d just keep fighting for the system to be improved so that I could potentially get both benefits.

It’s why I always bring up merged leagues so long as we keep national rankings/national cups because the last thing I want is to merge leagues and completely split apart the local community. Having the league structure as a merged league system but keeping your own national rankings/pages/forums and cups I see as the perfect balance to solving the issues for all low user base countries.

Promotion won’t work, there’s 0 point trying. Very different culture here. I don’t even think even if sokker owners advertised in Australia they’d get much either. Happy to be proven wrong but I highly doubt they’d get anything from it.

Much better to fix the issue by merging what we have and keeping who we have.

Yeah, but the progress goes so slow it's almost to believe we won't live to see the day Sokker gets ready for promotion.

The progress is very good, we should just let the devs to their thing. I know and believe that in a few years this game will be great again

They might even change the servers to GT 9
