Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!
If there is an automatic bidding system both teams will bid in the same time, if both teams have the same maximum amount set to 100€ , and nobody else bids more than 100€, both teams will reach 100€ in the same time at the end of the auction, it is only FAIR that they do so because they both have bid the THE MOST amount... it will be difficult to implement and be impartial... receiving notifications via email, in case of "outbid", is a lot better...

Incorrect. Autobid overbid with the minimum overbidding value. So if you have an autobid of f.e. 3M and your current bidding stands at 1M and someone overbid you with 20k you do not automatically overbid straight to 3M... the autobid will overbid that bid with approx 20k again...
Also, you can only place an autobid once the player is for sale. But 2 teams do not simultaniously place the autobid on the same player... There's always someone first, even if it's only less than 1/100 of a second, coincidentally. and at the end of the autobidding que, there's always someone who reaches the max bid first...

You are right. But sokker does not work in 1/100 of seconds... so it is still ,theoretically , possible that 2 teams, or more , bid exactly at the same time...
Anyway I think this system, if introduced, will only damage the game's fan base (popularity) even more ...
PS: does hattrick have an auto biding system?... just curious, the game is still mega popular... I personally don't like hattrick, and I was a bit disappointed to see that after a 6 years break very little changed in sokker.... I would really like to see the game on new hights!

That could be also a problem right now, but the servers have their mechanisms to "queue" the petitions in critical operations. So, in practice, they won't ever happen at the same time

The first one posting once the new day has begun gets gold, the 2nd silver and the 3th bronze.
It often happens we post with 3 or more managers at 00:00:00, still the first one within that second has the first post...

That was the moment I said the game was trash and I never logged in again...

I also had a team there for about 2..3.. years but I just got bored, I continued with sokker for another 7 years... than I couldn't login for a longer period of time (health wise) and my account got blocked... 2015....restarted a month ago...I also race pigeons as a hobby...:-)) ... being from Belgium I think that you are familiar with the sport...

Hahaha...yeah it's very common here. I think around 10k pigeon breeders in the country.
It's so infested you really cannot avoid hitting a pigeon with your car from time to time :-s
They also seem to have an affinity for shiny and clean things! Just to poo on :-p

What I would like to see is a sponsorship offer system alongside the main sponsor, that we get 2..3.. spots that, when free, will receive sponsor offers... similar to the junior team system...
There are many things that could be done to make the game more exciting... colouring the stadium... having a scout maybe (you set some values and you get notified when players with the specified skills appear on the transfer list).... hiring a doctor.... introducing a taxing system at the end of the season, to try to equal a bit the balance between new teams and very rich old teams, in such a way that teams with absurd amounts of money in their bank accounts would be taxed! For example, over 25 mil USD they pay a 10% tax, over 50 mil USD a 20% tax... just an example, reason is that a lot of new teams get discouraged when they see how rich the old teams are.. they did work for their money, no questions asked,
but still ...etc.

Tax for rich teams is creating new problems, they will invest the money in players..., So less good players on the market for new managers.
Yes, but they do that anyways, plus good players will get old and their value will drop (thus big teams will lose money) ... new teams wouldn't be able to afford this kind of players to start with... new teams can always train their own, .... maybe there will be more good young players available for the small teams... in some way new teams need to be given, if not a chance, at least hope... :-)

Of course you must give more money to new managers in some way, but tax for rich teams is no option, they will find a way to spend the money on the market to avoid tax and don't loose money.
For example in buying more trainees ( so less trainees for new managers) , the new system with more games a week is excellent for this...

Don't get me wrong, I do respect the fact that some people have kept on playing the game for the last 15, 16 years, and have managed to get on top, but the problem is that it is quite discouraging for new teams to see how dominant the old teams are....

Ok, but what do you expect in a game that is almost 17 years old with users which have an account almost as long as that?
That a new team can compete within a half year or faster is nonsense...
It's only logical there is a gap!
If there's a stream of new users, they will compete each other in the lower regions. And only the strong can grow through to the higher regions. This is only logical.
Many new users....that is what the game needs.
