Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

True.
However, the random drops should be removed! I plea for a more lineair weekly drop which can be countered with playing minutes / training. Way too much random in the game...

Remove random drops? How do you then suggest to take out players from the game?
Already now, there is a huge amount of good players aged 30-38.

He means leave dropsin the game but make them predictable/linear. Equal for everyone

Old players anyhow have low costs and value decline. So, the risk of value loss can be calculated in.

Off course, there is an emotional element when you have trained a star for 10 seasons and must see him drop.

But personally, especially for beginners, it is good that there are older players with good skills available. And they are rather cheap because of (1) the risk of sudden skilldowns and (2) 1-2 weaker skills (outbalanced skills due to random skilldowns).

I'm sorry if I missed some direct messages to me in this thread.
If some1 have such question, please ask shorly and use a "limegreen" color with bb-code so I could find it easier.

About training effectiveness corelated with players age, that is example from one of the latest versions:

// how to get 96% of advanced training //

17yo - 90 min friendly
18yo - 90m fr. + 5m of.
19yo - 90m fr. + 11m of.
20yo - 90m fr. + 17m of.

As can be seen with normal use of the old players (e.g. 2 official league games per week) the drop in effectiveness is virtually none.
2024-10-02 11:21:33
Problem is you can’t just have 11 first team players (and that was another goals of Raul, to make people have wider squads). So if you use your first 11 twice in league, then the subs will get noticeably worse training.

The intentions are good, but again the implementation works in a way that it is most negative for the most ambitious/competively playing users. Which is so annoying since the main goal was/is to support playing for results.

Same with the need to play 18-20 players. This change as a whole is most profitable for less active/less ambitious users who just stay in low leagues and train/make money.
2024-10-02 11:23:05
That really does not go far enough in fixing this problem.
Does this game actually expect competitive players to use all 5 subs to bring 18-21 year olds in every league match?
2024-10-02 11:29:48
for me training decisions are one of the most interesting aspects of the game and I would miss them, if it would be made completely easy with 90 min friendly for full training for all 10 players on advanced slots.

so for me it's ok as compromise.

why not? Clearly easier than now where they have to play a whole game.

Pretty nice simulation of rl football btw. But that's certainly not an argument for this change.

edit: changed wording "better" to "easier"

Because it doesn't fix the problem of training vs competition. This will do nothing to stop clubs refusing to promote in order to train. If this is the "solution" it's a disaster.

It is maybe not the most effective measure, but certainly an efficient one considering effort and impact.

And think about this:
There are managers who most enjoy training youths. You will only convince them to go for competition if they are really forced to.
And this means reducing the fun of trainings youths.
I am pretty sure nobody wants such chnages, right?
2024-10-02 11:53:37
You can get now 96% with every player after 90 in friendly and 22 in league… that’s barely a change… among 18+

It will mostly make training 16-17yo players easier and the life of low league money makers will be better since it will be easier to get their 16-17s to 97-98%…

Waste of potential imo

Camus to koka
But there are plenty who do want to promote and try to compete, and they won't be able to because these changes don't go far enough.
18-20 year olds are not viable players for teams who want to compete. Especially not when you have to use ALL of your subs to get them training in each game.
I am incredibly annoyed and frustrated if this is the plan. After everything that's been discussed on here for months, this solves nothing.
2024-10-02 12:00:12
It just makes 16-17s more valuable and everyone else a problem.
2024-10-02 12:01:50
Exactly. What is more this change makes life of competitive users worse because their first team older subs will get worse training.

For me it’s an amazing change and will make my game plan much easier but Im annoyed. It was supposed to be a change for ambitious players, it was supposed to promote playing for results.

Instead it’s a change that will make it even easier to stay in low leagues, train 16-17yo players and make loads of money.
