Slightly overpaid I think... He needs at least 1.5 season to reach double divine and his PM is a disaster which needs alot of training as well...

On the long run he will make profit, but on the short run, profit is impossible.

Without pm training no profit indeed.

I'm always confused about this kind of players .
On one hand he will be a good fit for my team , But meanwhile I'm burning a training slot for a player who will never bring a profit .
What do you guys do in this kind of situations ?

If you do train def only, you will have to buy a player with lower def and higher pm for the same price.

You will get profit for 100%. It will be divine 23yo DEF next season.

5 pops to divine in 1 season (16 weeks) at 22y?
Dont think so.

Unearthly def is possible and maybe he will get 3.8 million euro in 1 season.
That way het gets around 3.4( tax) and very less profit of 300k.
You need at least 1 million euro profit a season with trainees in my opinion.
Otherwise you must find a trainee that fits in the 1 million project a season.

I guess he meant 2 seasons .
But anyway my point was a bit different .. Even ı see what you meant with buying a player with higher p.m , it is not easy to find or not easy to buy :)
Instead of a financial profit , ı can use this player for 3 seasons and sell it to the same price ( minumum ) . But ı am unsure if this is really worth to use a training slot .

Let me summarize , is it possible to buy players like this and train them for 3-4 seasons to compete ?
Or do ı really need to relegate and focus on $$$ ?
