"Your supporters expect 1st place.
You were second after 18 rounds out of 22, so they were unhappy = 44% fulfilment"
Does anyone REALLY think a fan base is going to be unhappy with second? like, 56% fans are angry? These fans are also going to stop showing up for home games?
This is absolute nonsense to me, and feeds into my view that the baseline for all of these should be 75%, not 50%.

It's not "56% of fans angry", it's "fans are 56% angry / 44% happy"
their mistake was to show the %, they should have made more steps on the ladder and just given them names, without showing the actual percentage
the idea behind it was to lower the income from match games / sponsors to tackle the inflation they created with introducing double the home games every week / ~double the ticket money weekly so it wouldn't make sense from that perspective to make the baseline 75%

in my opinion, this aspect is misguided. Sponsor money is unchanged, as far as I know, ever. I run a -300 to -330k deficit a week because sponsor income is from 2005, not 2024. Others in my league are a bit more.
Sponsor income sucks.
I'm not sure how they expect people to 'compete' while cutting their knees out from under them. Sure, if you've been around 10-20 years you're sitting on a huge pile of money, it's no problem.
The real issue with money in this game was in player sales.

So lets say there is idea to lower income, why still has to be so depending on nonsense situation like one point behind, where we have si much random in this game. I took the lead back because my oponent draw in one of those random games, so normaly he wpuld be still at that point in front of me.
And you know these random happens oft, so it can be now league table is made based on random... cool

Sponsorship is definitely changed. By now making it almost impossible to be madly in love and much easier to be in the bottom of the fan mood for long periods of time because you’re not where you’re expected to be sponsorship dives substantially.
On top of that lower fan mood reduces fans across the league and that therefore reduces league prestige which is a key factor in where the benchmark is for your sponsorship before you take into consideration fan mood.
So yes sponsorship was well and truly a target with this.
I would guess I’m down around 62 500 $ a week atm on sponsorship alone, before taking into account how much I’m down gate receipt wise.
I’m definitely down over 100 fans in basically a season or two as well. That’s not even thinking about what I’d have in the old system as I would have still been gaining small amounts.

The amount has honestly always been so unnoticeable to me, I could be making 20k less a week in sponsor money, and I wouldn't notice.
Many peoples, including me, play the game on their phones. I wonder if we will be able to do tactics from the phone in the near future? There is a great need for such innovation.
why we dont have archive of cup tournaments? like in league.. it will be nice to add that option. :)
It's unbelievable that it hasn't been done. Apparently instead of making the game mobile friendly though, they decided to make an entirely new game for mobile. Absolute insanity.

Can be you played 1st league last season and probably you have more fans as others in 2nd.
You have too many fans for your league. League average is much lower, so its hurting you - no fault of your own.
This is happening to the top team in my country has the same problem. I am still gaining fans, but I am still somewhat behind the curve fan wise.
