my predictions for failures this WC were Romania and Czech Republic so Romania is out and I will be most likely out with 6pts since our strikers today were refusing to score :)

But after the reform of the league tables we were told for WC promotion groups:

The ranking will be based on the same assumptions as in the league i.e. number of points, goal difference, higher number of goals scored, higher number of victories, higher starting position (higher "pot").

I guess you are right and WC groups are still old system based. We will see.
