I changed the points system to make sure those who organised a match and lost had some benefit over those who forfeited, but if people feel going away from the traditional points system takes away from the competition, I am happy to change back
Just a few tips to help everything run smooth (and because I am about to have a couple of massive days at work with limited sokker time).
If anyone is having any issues organising the match, please post in here on the Wednesday and sk-mail your opposition as well prior to this if possible.
If you are an away team who hasn't received an invite yet, please try to invite your opponent.
Anyone who is having issues, please wait until after training update to organise a friendly with someone you arent scheduled for. This will still give you two days to find a friendly, and you may even find someone from here.
Finally, if two teams in your group accidentally messed up the week and organised a week 3 match instead of a week 2 match, please work with the other person who missed out and I will just adjust the schedule for your group.
Good luck in week 2 all. This is the week where the 3rd ranks in your group are out for blood to try and snag those elusive 2nd place spots to the Asian Cup Finals.

Some BIG results this week.
Daehan Minguk pulling off a massive upset against UAE to take themselves to the top of the table from the 4th seeded spot within their group.
Zhonghou pulling off a draw against the overall number 1 seed in the whole of the Asian cup, sending themselves to the top spot and Viet Nam to 4th in their group
Finally Pilipinas getting a 0:0 draw against Saudi Arabia to keep their hopes alive at taking one of the 2nd spot qualifications.
Moving in to next week.
Group A - Still anyone's game to win it. With 4pts to the winner, anyone can win it. Being the group of death, it is going to be hard for 2nd place to make it through, but anything is possible.
Prediction: I'll have to jump aboard the train that are my trans-tasman nation and predict NZ to promote with no second place making it through
Group B - Nippon have taken absolute control of this group, and have already sealed 1st place provided they don't forfeit their match.
Prediction: As with group A, I think we will see a single team promote, and that being Nippon, but can Misr prove me wrong? I'm a sucker for an underdog story
Group C - It's a battle between the top two seeds of the group, and boy, has India been impressive. But this certainly isn't set in stone, with Saudi Arabia well within striking distance of stealing 1st, and Pilipinas an outside chance of taking a 2nd place qualification
Prediction: It's hard to go past the dominance that India has shown. India to qualify and Pilipinas to make up the goal difference to sneak a 2nd place qualification
Group D: This has been a story of the favourites not letting anyone else even get a look in. Australia and Russia just showing the class they possess. Don't let that take away from what Prathet Thai and Singapore have done though. Putting up valiant efforts against stronger opposition.
Prediction: Well I can't exactly predict against myself, but the loser of this match will almost certainly promote as one of the best second places regardless what happens.
Group E: Another group that is still up in the air. 3 teams playing off for 1st place, the favourite of the group sitting in 4th in an almost impossible position in terms of promoting.
Kazakstan and Daehan Minguk have both pulled off incredible upsets against 1st seed UAE, earning their position for a straight showdown for at worst, a chance at a second place promotion. Malaysia will have the difficult task of playing the number 1 seed who has nothing to lose
Prediction: I'm going to say Malaysia has the class to further upset the number 1 seed and continue their journey of redemption after coming 2nd last season. However, and I'm going to put it out there, I think Daehan Minguk and Malaysia will finish equal on points and goal difference, with Daehan taking top spot thanks to a superior number of goals scored.
What do you think? Can your team promote by causing an upset? Or will you stroll on through to the next round.

Good analysis of the groups, thanks for your comments and update of the Asian Cup. I´m a little confuse about the points shown in the groups, can we have an explication of how they are done?
Also we still using this quaterfinals matchs?
- winners are seeded 1-5, 2nd place 6-8
- 1v8 (I), 2v7 (II), 3v6 (III), 4v5 (IV)

Draw = 2pts
Loss = 1 pt
Forfeit = 0pt and 0:3 scoreline. Unless both teams forfeit, than it's a 0:0 scoreline

I will change it for the next one and re-write my posts so the current Asian cup is on the 1st page.
On the first page though, I did write is large letters and with a link to the current Asian Cup, which then had the correct dates, weeks etc. There were also multiple people who asked for confirmation of the starting week within the discussion which I answered.
I can see where you had the confusion, but also the dates listed on the copy and paste you put in were incorrect which should have given a clue that the schedule was an out of date one.
This is also because the format, number of rounds etc. is determined by the number of teams that sign up (as I want to include everyone who wants to participate as well as giving everyone at least a few matches).
Sorry you ended up getting confused due to it. I will always aim to make it as simple as possible to follow and continue to update grey areas each season.
