Dear Devs,
The vast majority of juniors entering our schools have a general level that is too low for their age. Mechanically, no matter how talented they are, these juniors have no chance to get any value on Sokker at the end of their school training. Only a small minority of lucky (and therefore rare) random "draws" offer us opportunities.
This situation has become even worse since the shortening of the season: our juniors are going out "older" at a still poor average level.
The playing experience is demoralizing:
- We spend our time to dismiss every week "new" juniors.
- The junior games are impractical considering the average level.
- We have to keep several juniors with no future in order to have at least an 11 team.
- The transfer market is full of unsaleable youngsters. A few rare youngsters are worth millions. There is not enough middle ground.
However, we believe that this poor playing experience can be improved a bit by simply changing a few parameters:
1) Set a much higher general minimum starting level! (currently tragic (0)
2) Set the maximum starting age to 17 (not 18).
3) Define a minimum of 50% new juniors according to the allocated places (and not from 0 to 6 for 6 available slots).
We therefore ask you, dear Devs, to quickly rectify - without waiting for a possible larger reform - one or more of these parameters.
Thank you,

Dear Raul,
Since this topic is not finished (more than 200 users supported this) I take the chance to reiterate the request.
First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to answer your official answer which contains some mistakes.
1) It is not true that probability of having a poor or average or good draw are the same. Some calculations of probabilities seems to me sufficient to explain what everyone sees every week.
2) It is not true that junior schools produce multiple divine, It is in clubs and the training system. If multiple divine is your problem just fix this in club training but not in school training (for example, by increasing the gap to reach an higher level)
3) It is not true that your planned school reform (Facilities) would improve on random factors (except only one, the number of juniors per week.)
By changing a few random factors (without reprogramming anything) we can immediately improve the probability of NOT having so much unsellable juniors, without changing much the little chances of having big draws.
1) Set an higher minimum starting level (currently tragic (0). 3 to 4 for example.
2) Set the maximum starting age to 17 (currently 18). No more 18y entries, the probability is extremely low to get a valuable player at its start age.
3) Define a minimum of 50% new juniors according to the allocated places (and not from 0 to 6 for 6 available slots).

There are 10 slots for training in senior team. Let's say each player needs to be train for 7 seasons (very conservative assumption), it would mean that you need an average of ~1.5 junior / season for each team.
Meanwhile on average you get 13 * 3.5 = 45.5 juniors coming to school each season, your 3) point would increase that ammount to 13 * 4.5 = 58.5 juniors / season.
Points 1) and 2) will then increase the average skills of juniors and make them on average younger, but still only top juniors will sell for good ammount of money, because no one needs hoards of juniors, there is simply no place for them in teams.
So, to you your demoralizing points:
- We spend our time to dismiss every week "new" juniors.
The bar of what is "good enough junior to keep" will be higher, so you will still need to dismiss many juniors. For example if now no one cares about juniors with starting age 18, then with your changes no one will care about juniors with starting age 17, because you could make your junior school full with new 16 years old.
- The junior games are impractical considering the average level.
Yeah, the level of junior games would be slightly higher, but who cares about junior games? :P
- We have to keep several juniors with no future in order to have at least an 11 team.
- The transfer market is full of unsaleable youngsters. A few rare youngsters are worth millions. There is not enough middle ground.
As I pointed earlier huge majority of juniors will be worthless anyway, doesn't matter what you do with them, too many of them come out of the junior schools.
I'm not saying your ideas are bad, I just think they won't fix problems you want to fix :)

your 3) point would increase that ammount to 13 * 4.5 = 58.5 juniors / season.
Even with an higher min level it will result at the same situation after the 'toss" : mostly sacks at the entry.
but still only top juniors will sell for good ammount of money
That's right. Rare top players will remain rare. Those parameters 1) 2) 3) just increase the chance or more exactly : decrease the chance in the "toss" of really poor level.
Those points dont need much ressources (devs seems busy ^^) and dont have much impact on the game and junior random system. Not a revolution, but it's better than waiting for big plan, or nothing...
