How to copy tactic from club to NT and vice versa?

1. create some dumb/empty tactic on the destination end (might be Normal, might be 343, whatever, doesn't matter because it will be replaced with a tactic one want to copy) - the important thing is the destination, if You want to copy tactic to NT tactics then create "empty" tactic for Your NT, if You want to copy tactic to club tactics create it for Your club

2. hover the cursor of mouse over the link to the newly created tactic or just click it if You use mobile device or that kind of shit

3. the link should be something like that:
[i]https://sokker.org/tactedit/teamID/24878/tactID/{destination-tactic-identifier}#editor[/i]
e.g.
https://sokker.org/tactedit/teamID/24878/tactID/2188041#editor
and what You need from it is only the tactic identifier, which in this case is 2188041

4. open source tactic, copy its identifier (the same thing as described above) and use it with /read_tact.php page
[i]https://sokker.org/read_tact.php?id={source-tactic-identifier}[/i]
so for example the link could be:
https://sokker.org/read_tact.php?id=2127681

5. You should see something like this:
[i]tact={textual-representation-of-tactic}&ok=1[/i]
e.g.
tact=ABBBBDBFBFCBCBCCCFCFDAEBECEFDFEA...&ok=1
the ABBB.. text is shortened here just to show what's important here and what one should be aware of
and the important part is the sequence of uppercase letters which is, in fact, the tactic itself, just represented by text
and what one should remember to avoid copying the &ok=1 part or tact= part
only the textual representation of tactic You want to copy needs to be copied

6. so copy that part and create link like this:
[i]https://sokker.org/tactedit.php?save=1&id={destination-tactic-identifier}&tact={textual-representation-of-tactic}[/i]
id should be from 3. and tact should be from 5.
e.g.
https://sokker.org/tactedit.php?save=1&id=2188041&tact=ABBBBDBFBFCBCBCCCFCFDAEBECEFDFEA...

7. paste that link to browser and use it being logged to sokker in normal browser tab (no incognito/private thing) and You have Your tactic copied

i tried it, but seems that it doesnt work for me. I keep getting returned to my club tactics with an info "tactic cannot be saved"

Then you can do it by the old traditional way:

1. Get the CODE of the tactic you want to change
https://sokker.org/read_tact.php?id=ID_OF_YOUR_TACTIC

2. Insert the CODE on SETE (or on old SETE), swap positions and use the new CODE on step 3

3. Replace properly:
https://sokker.org/tactedit.php?save=1&tact=CODE&id=ID

4. Extra step, if you want to make the tactic viewable for a mail or forum:
https://www.raqueto.com/sokker/editor.jsp?tact=CODE

PS: Remember to include Terrion on your prayers! ;P

I just read Kryminators post.
He describes the same procedure.
Perhaps you got an empty space on your url and this was the reason, why it did't work.

What exactly are You trying to do? Copy which tactic where?

Feom club to NT

Distinguish between NT-tactic-ID and club-tactic-ID and you will make it.
(In other words: Create new tactic on NT (a simple one) in order to use the NT-tactic-ID on last step)

-----
1. Get the CODE of the tactic from your club, you want to copy
https://sokker.org/read_tact.php?id=ID_OF_YOUR_CLUBTACTIC

(2. Insert the CODE on SETE (or on old SETE), swap positions and use the new CODE on last step)

3. Create new SIMPLE tactic on NT (this tactic will be replaced by tactic from step 1/2) and use on last step the ID of this new NT-tactic

4 (last step). Replace properly:
https://sokker.org/tactedit.php?save=1&tact=CODE_OF_CLUBS_or_OF-SETE_TACTIC&id=ID_OF_NT_TACTIC ... and then press enter

5 (extra step). After end say loud 3 times: Unga bunga! ;P

So You did create some dumb/empty tactic on the NT page, right? What ID does it have? It is important what tsolias wrote, that ID will be used only once at the end of the whole procedure and You need it only for this (to paste it to link at the end, before pushing Enter)
