Interview with Scalla (NT Coach of South Africa)
1. As you are new coach in the African series. I would like to speak about yourself something from the real life what we can't know about you!
I am a property manager in Pretoria, South Africa.
2. What is your favourite football club and players in the world?
Favourite Club is Blackburn Rovers in England. Some of my Favourite Players are Lionel Messi, Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Baggio, Tugay Kerimoglu, Morten Gamst Pederson, Dennis Bergkamp, Fabio Cannavaro, Michael Essien and of course Christiano Ronaldo.
3. Have you got a favourite African teams or players?
I used to support Bloemfontein Celtic in South Africa, but the club was sold and has a new name. My favourite African players are Samuel Etoo, Mo Salah, Benni McCarthy, Lucas Radebe, Didier Drogba, Jay Jay Okocha, but my favourite was Michael Essien.
4. What do you mean about South Africa chances? What do you mean about South Africa future in the 4-6 years. There can have some really good players, who's this players can be really usefull in the senior squad from the younger generation?
I don't think South Africa's chances are good. We have an aging team and not a lot of new talent coming through, but we will try out best to improve things in the next few years. The problem is the we have low active users in our leagues. We have a very good young GK in Bertin Stars, but other than that our youngsters are poor in comparison to some countries.
5. What is your bet for the gold, silver or bronze medal?
I honestly have no idea who will finish in the top 3. I don't know how strong the teams are, as I am new to the African Cup, but I suppose Senegal and Nigeria will be up there.
6. Who cause a big surprise on the African Cup?
I think Misr (Egypt) might cause surprise.
7. Have you any tip which team will give a the best goalscorer, and who will win it?
No tip for best goal scorer. I don't know the teams.
8. Who can get into the the dream team from your South Africa?
I doubt any of SA's players will be in the dream team, but we'll see how it goes.

Interview with Kadirdey (NT Coach of Algeria)
1. Another year and sun shine for Algeria again? How feel your chances? As I saw there were some new faces in the Algeria became stronger or weaker?
First of all, Hi to every one! Well, i don't know if we are stronger or not... we are experiencing some new things, incluing new players...currently we are full of doubts. But, as i remember,Algeria reached the final of the last three AFCON... So i think as others teams, we have chances.
2.Whose can become into the senior squad in the near future? How you see the senior squad future in the next 4-6 years?
Players as Hadj Aissa, Boulmerka, Laredj, Saifi, Semghoun, Fahas, Chebal, Soukhane and else ... i think that Africa will count with Algeria for years again. I don't if we'll be stronger or not but we'll be constant for sure.
3. How you felt your WCQ Group? Algeria reached the 5.place but there were have some really narrow match against stronger teams like Slovensko and Portugal. Tell me something about your qualify matches!
It was a hard group for us, we didn't realize the same result that the last time ending at the third place, a lot of important players were out of form and out of age and i decided to change some of them... we failed face to the nearly team but we made good matchs against the stronger...so, what can i conclued? that like in the real life, this team is able to do the best and the worst !!!
4. If need to bet which team can get the gold silver or bronze medal?
Which? i don't know, Sokker can be so facetious !!! Remember last time, Senegal was for me a favorite team and they don't get neither gold, silver or bronze... Well, Senegal, Misr and Algeria.
5. Do you feel there will be someone who can cause a big surprise?
For years, i love the way that Kenya can play !!! we allways played big matchs with them ! dont under estimate South Africa two and i feel that something is maybe growing in Nigeria but they are too " young ". Kenya can create a surprise.
6. What do you mean who can will be the best player on the tournement or who will get the most assist or the most goals? In the last two AFCON Chaouchi and Drid and Gouendouz too were something special for Algeria. Thats true on the last Cup the first player didn't get to much playing time.
Yes we won twice a time the "golden shoe" with Chaouchi and Guendouz, Drid won the trophy of the best player... i don't think that they'll won again, Drid could be but he's out of form and we decided to stop the collaboration with Gendouz, he'll not play the AFCON. Well, Shehatah from Misr impressed me so much last time, why not the trophy of best player for him? Ibou Samba ba from Senegal for the most assist and a surprise for the golden shoe ?!?!
7. Who will be get into the Dream Team of the Tournament from Algeria?
Who ? currently i've got no name, as i said first we are full of doubts. So let's the game play and we will see !!!

The group wasn't easy where Algeria played with Suoami, Slovensko and Portugal. But they played a really impressive result with Portugal two times 0-1 and 1-1, and with two narrow match against Slovensko. Algeria not the best on the rankeing list if we see it, but in the African Cup they well perform and they one of the favourite in te African Cup. On last African Cup reached the gold meal, 4 years ago got the silver. Good to hear in Algeria the future exciting, as a new generation can coming soon with good potential.

Despite Tunis defence not seems too tragic, they got too many goals most f his opponents. Thats true their strikers not the bests, but other caliber African teams reached better results a little. Tunis have a new NT Coach now. Winner lead this team on the AFCON.

1. Another year, when we can saw Egypt can have a really serious team in this Cup. In the last 3 African Cup Misr always reached the semi-final. The team a little bit older. How you feel the squad on this AFCON and your chances?
First of all, I want to greet you all and wish you beautiful and spectacular matches. Thank you for the invitation and I hope that my team will get a place on the podium. It seems to be more difficult compared to last season, and this is because many players can no longer evolve, being replaced by some younger ones. And when you have young players, inaccuracies also appear.
2. Who can become the new stars in the senior squad in the 3-4 years? Speak about these players or are there an yspecial players in the U21 team?
Together with gexge (U21 manager) we raised the sokker from Egypt. I remember that in the first season we had players from BOT teams at U21 and those from the big team were ... cabbage. I don't even see old players, the value of the lot being very low. With the work, with the effective involvement of the 3 active managers that Egypt has (2 more have appeared in the meantime but I don't know how long they will stay) we managed to form a valuable but narrow group. However, we had a generation of extremely good defenders who will put us in difficulty now that their time is coming. As future players, we have a defender (Bashshar - 24 years old) and two forwards (Zaid and Mahmud - both 22 years old). However, we are having a bad time with the midfielders and we don't even know how to solve the problem because the U21 is not pink either.
3. What dou you mean who can be reach the gold, silver and bronze medal?
The format of the tournament is different, so there may be surprises. There are strange things in sokker anyway, so ... we'll see.
4. Again Algeria, Misr, Kenya or Senegal can dominant on the Cup or you fell can have some surprise?
The same answer for this question like number 3. question.
5. What do you mean who can get into the Dream team in the tournament from your team?
We have: El Ghandour (goalkeeper), Bashshar (defender), Gawdat (midfielder), Zahid (midfielder) and Yunus (forward). At least two of them could make the ideal team of the tournament. And the trophy for the most promising player should already be given to Zaid even if he didn't score today :))
6. Which team will give a the best goalscorer or who will be the best player in the tournament?
When I answer this question, I want you to know that I saw my match today and I have a striker who scored 3 goals. Finally, I think that striker Ramzi Yunus can be the top scorer of the tournament and Shehatah Zahid can be the player of the tournament. I think Zahid deserves this honorary title last season as well.
7. Tell me a little about your World Cup Quilafy Group how you felt that matches aganst the stronger teams or there were some special match there?
I had higher expectations, but the list of valuable midfielders left its mark. The fact that the team is numerically limited confused me when certain players got injured or were suspended. It's terribly difficult when you have no options, but that's the situation. Before the official matches, we played a friendly with Moldova, and the fact that we beat them gave me hope for the preliminaries. Then, they kicked me in the head :)))
Misr:
Well, Egypt generally performed better. There were some really narrow matches against some opponents. On match against the World Champion Croatia, two match against Latvia and one against Sweden.
