do you have to have some special account for it?
2006-12-01 23:15:29
No, you need to log in on http://online.sokker.org/xmlinfo.php and follow the hints on the page.

After successful authentication you (or your software) can download the XML-files located in directory http://online.sokker.org/xml/. They are created real-time, so are always up to date.

Following files are available at the moment (expressions in a square brackets should be replaced with proper value):

team-[team ID].xml # ie. team-785.xml
player-[player ID].xml
players-[team ID].xml
juniors.xml
trainers.xml
reports.xml
vars.xml
transfers.xml
country-[country ID].xml
countries.xml
region-[region ID].xml
regions-[country ID].xml
league-[league ID].xml
league-[country ID]-[division]-[number].xml
match-[match ID].xml
matches-team-[team ID].xml
matches-league-[league ID]-[round].xml

That means that you have to add one of the things in the list after http://online.sokker.org/xml/

You need to change [team ID] to your (or somebody else's) team ID.

(not to you specifically, your just last on the list)

How you would you go about allowing a user to load their xml files into an online application.

I have a little prototype app that I use to analyse my own xml files locally. It could be easily tranferred to the web. The team id makes importing the xml file kind of awkward.

The first part of the url is:
http://online.sokker.org/xml/

The second part is something of that list. If something in the list is written as [xxx], you should replace [xxx] to what is asked.

If you have Firefox it might not work with XML and you need to use Internet Explorer.

http://online.sokker.org/xml/players-****.xml

Replace the **** with your team id

A program enter your password on the main page (http://online.sokker.org/xmlinfo.php) and downloads the other pages concerning information about your team.
