Yes, there is a slight chance in that theory but i think it makes about a 1% difference. I guess it depends on the player and the skills of the opposition. Like i say i've never had the problem and think the performance dip is minimal.

what about his form won't it go down?
2008-11-19 22:04:14
For my last match, when i kicked my 1st goal, my ATT made a dribble to the GK so easily that it gave some reactions of misunderstandings into our forum.
"old" managers told me taht the impact of managed dribbling is due to the strengh of striker of the attacker and GK'skill of the GK (Dev's explanations but memory of this is not very certain said by "old" managers)
And my idea is the strenght will be more due to technique of the ATT and defense of the GK ?

Could some answer me please ? :-)

Thanks :-)

inside the penalty area it's striker skill vs. keeper skill

outside it's technique vs. defender

Tactical Discipline

Dribbling Keeper

Additionally, we have changed skill related with dribbling past a goalkeeper. Now success for this will depend on the player's scoring and keeper's goalkeeping skills only.

from what i gather aswell, form is a factor in the actual numerical value of both of these skills also, so doesnt mean that just caus ur one level above, u will be successful...

iv only once seen a player drbble past the keeper, player has unearthly pace, incred tech and solid striking... i dotn know stats of keeper...he was fairly high rating keeper though so i dont know..
seems like a dodgy explanation to me

Thanks for having given answer to me :-)

Then, it is unfair that i managed this goal because my striker was only brilliant and his GL was divine.
2008-11-20 07:56:47
no, personally i think technique and pace come into it...

although if his goalkeeper is divine, then yes :) shouldnt have happened, unless there are massive differences in form ;)
2008-11-20 10:06:26
Just because the keeper is divine doesn't mean it should never happen, surely?
2008-11-21 02:23:25
no thats true... im guessing its probably based on one of those matematical tables (t graphs or something)

as in real life... theres always a possibility that things wont work... otherwise, what happens if divine tackling comes up against divine tech...

quoting the joker:
this is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object

saw that film in IMAX the other day :) biggest screen in world?? 64m high i think... or something like that anyways

do players tire by gametime or by actions they do in the game?
2008-11-22 12:22:11
it depends mostly and entirely on their's stamina and little form...players with formidable stamina will feel less tiredness than players with lower level:)
2008-11-22 12:24:23
yea, I know
But do they tire themselves according to time (let's say aftetr 60') or to actions (let's say after 5 long runs)?
2008-11-22 12:25:23
according to workload i think
2008-11-22 12:26:02
as far as I know entirely by actions (lots of running because of tiresome tactics for example :) )
2008-11-22 12:26:45
ah, great :)
