Has anybody yet had a youth join their school at "good" level and pop in either the first or second week. Is it possible at all or have we proven beyond reasonable doubt that the highest level a junior can join is 7.0?

I haven't, but I've seen screenshots which "prove" that it is possible.
However, unless I haven't seen one of my youth popping earlier I'm not totally convinced that it's possible ;-)

yeah its possible mate... im pretty sure i had one with 30 weeks and then a pop to solid inside 2 weeks but didnt pop again in 7 weeks so i ditched him... talent is more important to me at this stage... (wud have came out 20y.o probably and useless talent so no point keeping him)

u may as well say solid is the max starting level, but its not solid in writing (7.99 much closer to 7) so max is good...

I am not sure i believe that because it defies the law of averages. If only a handful of people claim this is possible in a game of thousands of managers then something is not stacking up.

Of course not many in comparison use the forums but each one has had 100's of juniors, but none with good popping in 1 or 2 weeks. Within a couple of days i think we could get proof on first week pops on all other levels of junior, so why not good? Don't you think that is a little strange?

Why do my defenders get a much higher rating playing for the national team than in the league???In some cases the difference is more than 5 points.

It mostly depends on their off/def percentage. I think this is the reason here.

or maybe because he plays against stronger opponents in NT than is his club team...

my striker gets frequently 60-65 mark, and when I played against romanian multiple champion alin_bz in the cup, he got 81 mark! It depends on opponent

No idea, so
the hierarchy in associations... how does it work? is user with a "1" better than one with a "4" or is it the other way around?
Can I rename an association ? my association is missing a letter :S

maybe in NT they are using more their high skills (def and pace) than side skills.

skills usage distribiution have an impact for a rating. for example striker with high striker skill will get higher rating if stay only in the box and headings crosses
