Just checked history in SO, I update it regularly three times per week for long time :), and I had one player some time ago who popped from good to solid in 6 weeks, and then didnt pop to very good after six weeks so he got fired :)
another example:

level 7.01
Could be, or maybe it rounds 7,99 to solid :)

SO could fail or you could fail, and the first pop could be in 4 weeks...
example about more than 7,0 in the begining of training in YS
so watch other screens of my players :> i have complete data since december 06 till now :D
Important qualifying matches are approaching and penalty shootout could be decisive. I was wondering if someone knew the exact order in which players would approach the penalty mark?
I know players with order ATT go first based on who has higher number, then Mids go and in the end Defs, but basically, I want to know when do subs take penalties?
I would like to introduce 2 players in 119' just to take the penalties :)

I shoot the penalties with so player who has high playmaker, striker and technique skills.
first ATTs, then MIDs. according to my information not the number is decisive, but their average position on the pitch. - players, who arte postioned more offensive will be shooting first. but i am not really sure about that.
@ substitutions: i have heard that those subs made in the last minute will not take part in the shootout. still i am not really sure about that either. what i definitly do know from one of my cup-matches is that a player (mid) who was brought in minute 91 will shoot a penalty.

I have 1 excellent and 2 formidable coaches as assistant coaches.
1st wk: Tried with only 2 formidable coaches, random pop: 3
2nd wk: Tried with all three coaches, random pop: 3
Any idea if i should get two amazing coaches instead of three coaches of reasonable standards?

to be honest, you have to do this over a season to know if theres much difference id say...
i have a fairly decent head coach, and 2x very good assistants (money is tight) thing is, im getting at least 4 random pops a week (but i train 21 players (10 in friendlies - i only keep my keeper constant) in friendlies also see)
honestly, i had one very good assistant, and i was getting regular pops also, so i dont see much point.. head coach is the vital link in my opinion and then a decent assistant also. try 2 and see if its ok. if it is, compare to other people
NOTE: i have a really young squad, so i obv get more random pops than other people in general, plus my head coach is unearthly in stamina so i get 2 randoms in that a week at the moment basically!

Hmm. Fair explanation. I was thinking of reducing the number of assistant coaches as i have a tight budget. Was wondering the difference a coach make. Most people say the optimum number is 3, but i wonder if the difference is large with only 2.
If you just compare two weeks it's surely not enough! The subskill of the players plays an important role when it comes to popping in the skills when you just compare within a short amount of time!
3 assistant coaches definitely pay off in the long term run!
I see the contribution of the assistant coaches as a sum of their general skills. Therefore - as an example - I think having 3 solid coaches is better than having only 2 formidable ones. And 3 solid ones are cheaper aswell.
I wouldn't reduce the number of assistant coaches, if you can't afford them buy 1-2 cheaper ones ...

I agree, and i think it would take about 2 seasons to figure out the difference as you would need to record full pops thru general training only.
