Subject: Junior Talent
No but the last 12-13 weeks seems to be a very nice talent, i dont know if a top one, but his talent should be very good! The weird thing is that he popped from 11 to 14 all in 3 weeks without down pops

I am not sure the first weeks are meaningful for the talent evaluation.
Even with an ET coach I noticed that my top youth were estimated correctly only after many weeks in the youth school.
You can have a look at the screen of MOREAU and ZIDANE among my players.
So I would say that it doesn't matter how the graph looks like at the beginning.
I believe that we can trust his last weeks ups, when the estimation started to stabilize.
Then his talent should be close to 3 but he can miss magical depending on the decimal points...

Usually I drop first 6 weeks, it is garbage.
Can u share screen from sokker asistente about that junior?
Can u share screen from sokker asistente about that junior?
Yes i am in the sreet now but when i arrive home i share it, anyways there are some issues in that graph due the weeks that sokker asistente was not working, aldo in SA it says that my juniior starts with good level but its wrong so it is not completely right but anyways in some minutes i will post it
I still don't see why an estimation of a talent should fluctuate...
First of all... your coach cannot ''estimate'' a junior talent in his first week. What he CAN do is estimate how high the player's skills are.
after x weeks, depending on how good your coach is, he will know approximately the correct levels of the skills and he will see where the player improves and take this into calculation. That's why I think it must be clear from beforehand how ''accurate'' your coach will see the skills.
That's why I think a junior talent, at this moment, is worth nothing as long as the player is in your youth school. Even unearthly youth coaches (or ET coaches as Damien2a likes them to call :-p) can be wrong in their estimation. I've had different examples of players who had a bad talent in the school, but once in my senior squad, they popped more then reasonable! Also, the other way around... great talents in the school, which afterwards, seemed to have a poor talent...
My Bonaventure Roelandts was a great example of that! When I pulled him out of my youth, he was magical at age 17, week 11.
He was in my youth school for 22 days, so he popped at least 8 times within 22 weeks. Yet at age 19 he needed 7 weeks to pop from outstanding to incredible on pace.
I had 5x magical coaches btw...

Anyway it is a good estimator.
See that by coincidente the top yellow level is flat the first 6 weeks, then there is a constante slope.
With a graph like to one u r showing I trust a lot in the pink slope. So u should project the slope to the date your player is pulled out.

There are things that i dont undertand. (i do but seems ilogic)
How can a youth drop in ability after 5 weeks in school, with an "almost supernatural" coach?
Why do they go down after the 4th week? is the question.
if they already have a "minimum" level, and the coach has already had enough weeks to analyze their level.
There is something to improve there.

Yep... ditch the random at that point!
Your senior players who are U21 don't drop in skill either! Except maybe stamina...

yes, I think similar as dtox, junior talent may worth maybe something, but levels of juniors... on drugs......
lets say you pull out a junior that is outstanding (12), it means that the guy is 12*3.14 = 37.68. But lets say you junior came very balanced and is 4.71 in each of the 8 skills but the game will show you only 4 in each of the skills, then you think your player is only excellent (10), so those are 2 levels of difference from what you think it is and the "real" level that is 12. Now, your 16 level coach is always drunk, and reports ups and then downs on junior level. Then when you pull out the player you will see that all the counts and levels and the talent was totally wrong and it is useless..... Ok, is good to "know" what players are not worth it as the level is very low, but how good is the player?? nahhh, just have luck
Now, a talent like "La paternal" posted I think can be trusted, not as real level, but as is said there, talent.....I think Terrion did a great job using those yellow bands which gives you the confidence of the levels and the pink slope is a very nice approximation.
And by my experience, drop at least the first 6 weeks, only garbage. I think the new training system will bring more confidence after you upgrade your infrastructure. The changes to sokker are very good ideally, if they can make it real properly, we will have a great game with better experience

yfolire estimation is 3,5, but 12 weeks aren't enough for an accurate calculation
Yes, 3.00 or 6.00 if trainer made a mistake in the first 2 weeks, what is very possible.
