youtube downloader.convert the viid to avi.and take the part you want

lots of things.. depends on what you want to use to edit it.. as stated, avi is one of the easiest formats to work with, but its big compared to flv :)

This is one of my favorite videos, essentially its about the scale of the universe. It shows the earth in relation to other big stars and helps in getting your mind around the incredible size of the universe.
