Democracy has nothing to do with approving discrimination and preventing equal human rights.


And no, democracy doesn't mean the majority decides! Literately it means “rule by the people”. It is derived from a Greek word coined from the words demos (“people”) and kratos (“rule”). So it means the people are in power.
