"you must beat that pressure mate if you are no.1 and he did not do that, yet."

what I want to say is that it wasn't "pressure", remember that McLaren denunciate his own driver in one race, in order to help the other. Or they let Hamilton "forget" the team orders when the scheduled said Alonso must have one extra lap.

For me, it was a miracle to see Alonso fighting for the championship til the last race. And he didn't win because they wanted Hamilton to win from the very beginning, England gives more money than Spain, that´s how it works.

Now, they don´t have drivers... and they are even lucky cos Ferrari did the same mistake (they didn´t want to have the one who defeated Schumaker)

After that, nobody with a bit of honour would stay longer.

Alonso, Kubika and Vetel. They are the best; I would like so much to see them ruling the F1... but the big teams are stupid.

Kubica

K U B I C A :) no K u b i k a ;P

Massa is a great pilot imo. He has very bad luck this season, and deserves keeping a ferrari car in his hands and deserves winning the championship.

Kubica is with a top team, and hopefully BMW will challenge properly next season, Alonso had a falling out with McLaren, so he's just going to have to take Renault to another WDC, while Vettel is very young, and will be well served learning his trade at STR and red bull, remember both Schumacher and Alonso started at poor teams (Jordan and Minardi), as have Massa and Raikkonnen(Sauber).

The big teams aren't stupid, Ferrari are just waiting to get Vettel, though BMW will be the big challengers for him, and Alonso actually, McLaren wont take Alonso back, and itlooks like McLaren are doing what Ferrari did under Schumacher, have 2 drivers on equal footing at the beginning of a season, when we all know one driver is clearly superior to the other.

When BMW replace Heidfeld, it will be interesting, as to who they choose, either an experienced Alonso, or a young Vettel.

Kamil: sorry, so many "K " in polish... :P

xarepe: I'm not saying he's a bad pilot just because the things that happened this season... he was the good guy in the mechanicals, the friend of Schumi, the one who will never complain... the perfect couple. But the results are shown, he's driving a Ferrari... but doesn't seem so.

I don't think Alonso will move from Renault... and even less if the car continues being improved.

If Alonso keeps improving the car ;)

You are all talking about unlucky drivers being Alonso, Massa and drivers needing a better ride Vettel, Alonso, Kubica. Seriously, how narrow minded can some people be. The most unlucky driver in the F1 would definitely be Mark Webber, he has had a DNF in 45 of his races, between 2002-Current.

Alonso had his chance at McLaren and wasted it. Thought he was too good for the sport and the team, especially shown when he held up Hamilton in the pits, making the latter miss out on a final Qualifying by the same amount of time that he was held up. Just proved to me that he is a sore loser

Massa is a good driver, but hasnt been able to clinch that title, even with the Ferrari under him, I know he has been in Schui's Shadow.

Hamilton has talent and is a great driver, you can compare him to Vettel, however the main difference is Hamilton has the car and Vettel doesnt.

Raikkonen has always been one of my favourite drivers, especially when he was at McLaren, the only thing was you could compare him to Webber, retiring from too many races and hindering his championship performances. He was lucky to have won the championship last season, took it from Hamilton's grasp. Unfortunately not having the best season this year.

Alonso has not his chance to Mc Laren
Everyone knows what is hapened last year. He's left Mc Laren because at this team doesn't fair play with Alonso.
Massa is good but is not a champion.
Hamilton drive's well but he don't has fair play at once race.

Alonso is the Best, he has the speed, consistency, heart and mind to be a winner. He has worked he's way up from Minardi, improving every car he has driven enormously, even McLaren. He made McLaren the winning car it is now. And I tell you guys, next season you will see Alonso winning the title again at Renault. Only driver who could be compared to the Best racing driver of all time: Ayrton Senna.

Massa has always been a loser, he doesen't have the spark that makes winners. I think he lost it being in the shadow of Schumacher. He is too hot blooded and loses his composure when it's getting hard, but when everything is O.K. he is consistantly very quick, not like:

Räikkonen he has the speed, probably would be even faster than Hamilton, but he doesn't have he's heart in the racing, he lacks the consistansy, he has banged as much fastest laps as Schumacher in a considerably faster car(compared to other cars in the beginning of the millenium) in he's best season. He likes to live. He will never concentrate 100% on racing. That's why he will not win the title ever again.

Hamilton is bloody fast, taught to drive fast since he was 10. He got everything he wanted. He has not seen and lived through the huge effort to become a driver in a top team. Everything has been handed to him on a silver plate. At the moment he doesen't have the experience to cope with difficulties, he is not managing himself through tough times mentally, because he hasn't seen real difficulties. When he learns that, he will become a true champion. But for next 2 seasons I would not bet my money on him.

Although one of them: Massa or Hamilton takes the title this year and it could change the driver a lot.

What about Kubica? :)
2008-10-14 23:08:11
Oh you liked my post:) Thought of adding Kubica Vettel, maybe Webber and others.

Kubica, a mystery for me. 38 races have not been enough to see every aspect of him, the main cause I did not put him in the first post. But, I can say some things. He is a real fighter. He is quick, calm, consistent almost like a robot. And he can drive very fast. He has the guts to fight everyone, last lap of Fuji 2007 still gives me the creeps :) He is at the decisive point of he's career. To become a real winner he has to get over the difficult times at BMW now, make the car for next season and challenge the 2009 title seriously as well. He has the skill, does he have the mind? Only time can show us. We have seen glimpses of his perfection now he needs to bloom.
