Really? Lewis got his new tyres caught the ferraris and stayed behind for 20+ laps... nothing happened. They never swapped positions. I don't call that interesting but everyone is entitle to their opinion.
That said once Red Bull get their act together, Vettel will have a motorway to the tittle, there's just nobody near his pace.

A fight is still a fight, you don't need him to actually overtake Alonso to say that something happened. In fact, much less would have happened if he had just reached Alonso and get easily in front at the first attempt.
Besides, Webber crashing Hamilton out of track is not exactly "nothing" happening... And in case you really need it, after that there was some position swapping :P

You don't have to swap positions to have an interesting race. The threat of it is most of the time enough.

If they don't get their act together, the tittle will be gone for Vettel. Ferrari and the other teams will get closer to Red Bull ( just like everyone got closer to Brawn GP last year ), so they won't be that impressive in terms of race pace in the second half of the year. So Ferrari can make the gap with the Red Bulls big enough, it will be very hard for the Red Bulls to get the tittle. and the Ferrari's aren't that slow you know, and they are very reliable, so ...
This is where I think you guys got "brainwashed" a little bit... If you're happy to watch a train go by for 20 laps then fine. We might as well paint wagons to the colors of an F1 and have a lot of you entertained at the local train station each hour :)
Seriously there are many other more entertaining series in the wolrd of motorsport that offer better entertainement.

I can't see how someone following someone else for an hour is entertaining or a good fight when there's little attempts to change position. I think Webber crashing into Hamilton illustrates my view pretty well, he must have fallen asleep...

Time will tell if the rule change is good or not so maybe I'm a bit quick to judge but so far it failed to deliver any good racing.

Brawn didnt have a budget to compete with the big teams last season, so with the advantage of the diffuser made at the start of the season it was enough of a lead to carry in the second part of the season. I don't see Red bull surrendering their pace that easily this season but it's possible. I'd rather be in Newey's shoes though, it's a lot easier to make a car reliable when it's fast to start with than finding some speed when you have a reliable car. That said if the gap becomes too big point wise, Ferrari will have it in the bag pretty quick.

Euh, he had problems with the brakes, just like Vettel.

However, I did like to watch the race. And by the way, they are expecting a lot of rain in Malaysia ;-)

imo they should race on wet track all the time:P

I read yesterday that it wasn't true. Brakes company said that it wasn't a problem with brakes.

You are completely biased :P We are used to "trains" in F1, just like the first race of this season. However, "little attempts to change position" is simply not ture in this case. Hamilton attempted to pass Alonso all the time all the laps he was behind him, and Webber crashed him trying to get advantage of the situation. So yes, F1 has been very boring for seasons, but last race, and that particular situation between Alonso-Hamilton-Webber is not a good example - in fact, it is an exception.
How thick can you be to race in the rainy season!
It just can't be worse than last year ;-)
it can...
No, than they would have to go and race in the ocean ;-)
ahh yes the new multibillion pound Ocean street race

to go with the 24 hour round the solar system race ;)
You don't have a lack of imagination ;-)
