That is the saddest moment since I watch F1, seriously, and I've been watching F1 since 1998 season. Massa deserved to win that tittle, Hamilton was just ... arrrgh, I'm still not over it.
(edited)
Hamilton was just ... better? ;)
Massa didnt deserve to win it at all, Hamilton bossed the championship for 2 seasons but kept choking when he basically had the title in his hands.

Okay ... he did not ... 2007 he didn't boss, as Alonso, Hamilton and Kimi ended on 109, 109 and 110 points ... So you can't say someone was actually the best, it was equal, but Kimi had one point more.

2008: let's see when the drivers didn't score any points ( bold = mistakes of driver, underlinde = mistakes of team )
- Massa: Australia ( engine failure ), Malaysia ( spun off ), Great-Britain ( sucked in rain race ), Hungary ( engine failure ), Singapore ( pit stop )
- Hamilton: Bahrain ( hit Alonso ), Canada ( hit Raikkonen at the end of the pits, red light ... ), France ( drive through penalty for cutting the track ), Japan ( drive through penalty for pushing Raikkönen off track in the first corner )

So yeah, I think Massa deserved that title.
that was hilarious when all his family were celebrating and then they realised Lewis was champion

:D
No, Hamilton did boss in 2007, he led the championship from race 3 to Brazil (final race)

If that isn't dominating I don't know what is.
Dominating is degrading the others to lower class, like Schumacher did in 2002 and 2004. What Lewis did, was leading the championship with a small margin, and winning only 4 races. That ain't dominating mate ;-)

you forget to say about all the times where hamilton had to start at the back as punishment and goes through the field like a machine to get a decent points score ;)

He is the best driver in the world, he just needs to calm down a bit at times.
And now you are forgetting to say why he got those punishments. If you go driving F1 like that, you know you'll get punishments, and he should have had many more of them. And okay, he goes through the field very easily, but it is your own fault. So when somebody starts from pole and ends it in first place, he did a better job than someone who got punished, and got back all the way to second place.
And by the way: I didn't forget to say that, in my post you can see he got 2 drive through penalties ...

well this is in total contradiction to your posts saying he never gets punished ;)

He has saved F1 from dying of boredom, if only more drivers would dare to take a few risks and want to win a race.
Now, if you can tell me where I specifically say that he NEVER gets punished ... I say that he doesn't get punished ENOUGH. Take a few risks? God damned, he's just a danger. A fast danger ;-) No, I remember a race ( don't know if it was last year or the year before ) in the rain, where he overtakes other drivers, and pushes them onto the grass. You know how dangerous that is, especially when it's raining?
they should go faster then :P
Martin Brunddle: If I had been a steward in China, I'd have penalized Button, Hamilton and Vettel.

Correct for Hamilton and Vettel, but I don't see why Button should have been penalized for.
the slowness around that corner, but they have contradicting laws, one saying the leader can go as fast or as slow as he likes and another saying he cant go slow enough to cause 'incidents' behind him.

I guess it is for excessive braking when the SC went in. There was a case one or two seasons ago when the leading driver caused a copmplete mess in the back by exaggerating the typical "brake before re-starting" manouver, and FIA "filled the legal gap" by telling drivers that such behaviour ("in excess" :P) would be penalized in the future.

anyone knows who was the infractor then? I think is a british, who is black, and he's name's Lewis... and he was only warned!

is this that you said, isn't it?

They should forbid such things. I'm not surprised though it's twice a McLaren driver ... If you don't go to normal pace, they should allow the other drivers to pass the first one. This is ridiculously dangerous.
