At least they have a descent car. Fernando just puts the Ferrari where it isn't supposed to be.

How awesome would this be :o

Schumacher, with all that world championship he has won, he seems to be so humild, opposite of Hamilton

it would have been really interesting rome gp too but silverstone and monza will never let them have their gp
2012-07-03 15:00:54
What? More "urban" GPs? We need to get rid of Montecarlo, Valencia, Singapore, not the other way around :P
2012-07-03 15:12:35
Dafuq? We have to get rid of Valencia? Yes. Of Singapore? Maybe. Of Monaco? No way dude. Monaco is a classic race, like Monza and Spa-Francorchamps.

And this London GP would be epic.
2012-07-04 02:56:18
no, no, no.. not monaco GP. that's a race i always waiting for each year since there's a high percentage of crashing or crazy moves :)

i don't mind to erase singapore or valencia GP though...

Monaco is the worst race of the season, year after year. And certainly the most boring of the ones I mentioned.
Is it very traditional, very fashionable, whatever? Is it a glamourous annual event that you want to watch, like Oscar awards or Cannes? Fine, go ahead with it. Just like you can make an exhibition race with cars from all times, and so on. Or as you can race in 24hs Le Mans just for the sake of it. But please get it out of the official calendar, Monaco giving points for the championship is nonsense.
What we need are Malaysias, Bahreins, Chinas: curcuits designed to be circuits by people who understand what a modern F1 race is like.

aka Tilkedromes?:D

imo they are way too boring, safe yes, but boring.
2012-07-04 13:53:19
I'm not a big fan of Tilke ;-)

I like the classical races, which are often in Europe. Too bad more and more European races are disappearing. If Spa-Francorchamps wouldn't be on the calendar in the future (they want Belgium and France to have a race every 2 year), that would be a shame. Races like Monza, Monaco, Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps, they must be on the calendar every year.

And yes, Monaco is a very interesting race imo. One single mistake and you're out. It has been incredible in the past (Senna) and it will be incredible in the future.

Ecclestone will never leave Monaco. Never.

My point exactly ;-)
I agree. Monaco is a classic race, and relies on driver skill really heavily, although Valencia and Singapore can go.

With reference to tracks, there has never been an exciting race at Bahrain - it's a slow, dull circuit. I also don't like the Abu Dhabi or Korean tracks - too windy. Often, the purpose built tracks are the worst.
They should find a balance between traditional GP's and new GP's (for money). I also would like to see a race on every continent, so I'd love to get the South African GP back. That balance is now gone in the advantage of new GP's.

'Traditional' GP's:
- Brazil
- USA
- Canada
- Belgium
- UK
- Germany
- Spain
- Italy
- Australia
- Japan
- France
- Monaco

Yeah, I miss Magny-Cours :(
