This is very clear with the new foxtrix add-on that shows the percentages of winning/drawing/losing after the game. I am absolutely sure, I added 10% to my chances to win and (despite) I had all zones more than covered, I had about 60% chance of winning. And I won! Great game, ain't it? Well, two of my league-mates drawed despite having 70% percentage of winning. They were playing against terrible teams of course, who were about to quit. I guess HT's devs don't think it's fair if the little teams can't win once in a while. After all, what is more thrilling than an underdog winning a game that seemed lost? That's why people liked Disney's Mighty Ducks so much.
No, as a game, it's sh!t. As a waste of time, it's great:)

If you carefully analyse how HT orientates their communication, you can easily see the target demographic of the game.

It was not meant as an insult. It's just a simple game and it must be intended for people who like simple games. I'm sorry if you felt offended by that.
But try to see it from the other side, I feel offended by the way hattrick treats its own game. Why do some fans (and the HT devs) want to drive their point home that it is a deep and tactically challenging game? I'm not stupid,and it's not that difficult to see the huge random. Why do you try to insult me by claiming with a straight face it's not?
