nice list, approved..

except point 2, that her line is only to stop the dude from making more bf/sexual advances, it's up to dude to decide whether he wants to be friend with her or not..
it's dudes fault that he didn't manage to create more sexual/relationship "tension" between them and not making her more interested in "something more"..

philosophical mode off.. damn coffee..

it's not how many hours you work, but the quality of work done..

(buzzkill I am)

If I was a Mexican and working in the US, I would talk to my boss or my union to find out my labor rights ... oh wait, they don't like unions and don't have rights ... shit :/

how many hours you work, but the quality of work done..

if you attenda at a pub? or when you are a nurse, a public employee, a policeman?
productivity depends on organization, not individual effort.

edit: anyway, it was only for debunking the myth of the hard work of the Germans

"productivity depends on organization, not individual effort."

i would upgrade this to "80% productivity depends on organization, 20% individual effort." and it's spot on.. of course, you have to take type of work in the equation.. for some type of work you "buy" time (like you said, bartender, public employee..), some type of work "buy" efficiency (e.g. builder needs to build a wall, electrician needs to place electrical installation in new house etc.)

but this shit ain't funny damnit!! i got sucked in some meaningless debate damnit! XDDD

funny how "quality of life" appears better in USA than Italy

but
I would NEVER change one of the best free healtcare system worldwide with USA "pay-for-life" lottery.
I would never change our friendly (and law subject) police officer with "stop resisting" like arrest.
I would never change our food restricting laws, with "market over all" ideology that allows almost everything that doesn't kill you.
I would never change my job protection law, with "one day" firing of employee..

and so on.

But the answer is very easy, how do they score?

Each country was scored on each of the 65 country attributes based on a collection of individual survey responses. The more a country was perceived to exemplify a certain characteristic in relation to the average, the higher that country's attribute score and vice versa.

no one ever highlights the difference between facts and their perception.
Here we have a perception statistic.
