Wasn't a very good match from our team, we should have decided the match much earlier.
Now we need to win against USA tomorrow :-)

Yes, I watched. Good game. Sad that Belarus didn't win. Today also Canada-Germany, Czech Rebublic-Latvia and Slovakia-Norway. Without any surprises Canada, Czechs and Slovakia will go to next round. But let's hope that Latvia win Czech cause winner of that game will play against Finland in quarterfinals. And Latvia would be a lot easier opponent . But I don't think that's gonna happen.

Well, guess only Norway (how many thas Latvia have?) has fewer NHL players than we do, so actually it's pretty well how we're doing ;-)

It gets time to win a quarter finals, I think since 1998 we lost all of them ;-)
But I think the chance to win in a quarter final is much bigger in the World Cup since not all NHL players are taking part there ;-)

How many NHL player have Latvia?
We have only three, but plays this two:

K.Skrastiņš ( Dallas Stars)
O.Bārtulis ( Philadelphia Flyers )

Also we have AHL players, but just one plays on this tournamet

And how many Swiss have?


This is just a Olympic tournamet, whitout a fans we are nothing. (It's true)

I'm watching Canada-Germany. The first period wasn't that breath-taking by Canada, yet they reached what they wanted: they took the lead. The second period was really rapid, a terrific show. Losing a goal was fair as towards the end the flow of Canada's play got a little slow.

Let's with what score Canada enters the quarter finals ;)

Well, 8:2, but the two last minutes certainly weren't the way with which Team Canada wanted to end this game. Can't wait for tomorrow's match!

We have also two, Streit (Islanders) and Hiller (Ducks).
And two AHL players (Weber, Ambühl) and one who's playing in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (Sbisa).
The others are playing in Europe ...
