The hit against Enström was ugly as hell!
If you're proud of such a hit you better rethink your hockey knowledge!

Those players should be punished much harder, such a hit is clearly an attempt to injure the opponent player. These ugly cheapshots are destroying ice hockey, I don't think the players who deliver such kind of hit is thinking about what he's doing!
He shows no respect towards the health of the opponent player, thanks for showing this video, now I have one more player I totally dislike!

On that situation Enstrom made a mistake! Because that was a legal body check and he don't to try to escape. On NHL it's quite normal.

Slovakia has to be quite exhausted after hard match, while Finland surely have some reserves. Heart vote for Slovakia, mind for Finland.

USA is sovereign, they have young talented team with players who seem to know each other better than Canada. Canada in third period againist Slovakia seemed exhausted and I have not much confidence in Luongo.

And USA last won gold medal in ice hockey exactly 30years ago and their it´s 50 years since their first Gold, so it would be nice if they win this year.

True, Enström shouldn't have stopped, but checking a player if you see his number is ugly as hell.

If he delivered such a hit in the NHL Enström would have been revenged by any of his team mates. I was surprised the Swedes didn't do it.

I dont get what was purpose of your post? If is Karsums normal guy, he tries forget this moment too.

Well this isn't NHL. If player starts to fight it means disqualification. I think it's the main reason.
About that body check- yeah, that check was ugly. But I think when you are at the board, you should expect to get checked or smth like that. Enström saw Karsums coming(second 5-6 in video) but still wasn't ready for that check(kept his head down).

Boarding and checking from behind are both illegal. It were 2 fouls in 1

It looked destined for a usa win. Dissapointing. Oh well. Good job Canada.

Damn. Slept over that final match.. :/ Anyway great to see Canada winning, they have always been my biggest favourite :)

Anyway, the biggest surprise I think it's Slovakia. Beating Russia(last 2 world championships winner), Sweden(2006 olympic champion), giving a BIG scare for canada, and I don't how they lost with finland, I think it deserved more than the 4th place.

Switzerland was unlucky to be in the toughest group together with Canada and USA :-(
But two close losses against USA (1:3 in the group stage and 0:2 (the second goal an empty netter) in the quarter finals) and losing against Canada only after shootouts is a tremendous performance!

Had we been in one of the easier groups we might have had a better position for the quarter finals and en easier opponent there ;-)
