I want Canadiens, Bruins, Sharks, and Canucks to move on. And eventually, Montreal beating the Sharks in the cup final.

I dont understand why some countries dont take the WC seriously. Usa, Canada, Sweeden, Finland sent shitty teams. Not many big star names. Russia on the other hand, basically sent their Olympic team.
Yeah USA roster suck, but on other side they may make play one a new guys.

Not true. Players like Parise, Brodeur, Miller, Alfredson, Niedermayer, Nash, Iginla, Lundqvist, Gaborik, Jokinen, and others, are currently NOT in the playoffs. Also, they are NOT on the rosters. I guess some teams chose to play younger players. But like I mentioned before, Russia is stacked. Ovi, Kovy, Semin, Frolov, Federov, Kozlov, ect.

It's the same even for Switzerland. 20 players - including most of our top players - didn't wanna play because of different reasons.
I think it might be much more useful to do a World Cup every two or even every four years like in Soccer, it would caught much more interest.
Every year is just too much, and after playing 82 games in the NHL I somehow understand players if they don't wanna come and play another like 10 matches ...
The system isn't good imo.

Maybe players dont think it's a honour to play for they country in WC even it should be. Of course some players are injured after a long season and they have personal reasons not to go but some of them just don't want to go. I don't understand that.
