I didnt like the guy cuz he was a Ranger. But hell, he had a bright future infront of him and didnt deserve something like this.

I found out what happened...:((( He had a heart attack during a regular season match and, what is very shocking, there was no ambulance within the arena. The one that came, arrived after 40 minutes the tragedy had taken place. Moreover, the resuscitator in the ambulance was out of order... They tried to reanimate him at the hospital, but it was already too late. If there had been a resuscitator, he might have got through... like it happened with one Detroit player in 2005, such a machine saved his life... Sad.

P.S. Rangers are amazing this season, they seem to be unstoppable

If this happened in the NHL or somewhere else, he would be still alive. Russian medical staff is terrible. I dont know if you saw the video, when he passed out, players carried him off into locker room(he wasnt dead yet). And not even a doctor game. In the NHL, there are doctors at every game. Also, each team has a few personal trainers, in case anything happens.

Yes, as I said above, in 2005 one Red Wings player had the same heart problem. Fortunately there was a resuscitator in the medical sector of the arena, so he was instantly reanimated. Since then NHL rules obliged all the teams have such a machine within their arena. ...and Russians didn't have even a doctor out there...:(((
