not really. remember his pride fight against nogueira. that was a good strategy: punching, focusing more on accuracy than on damage, and defending, avoiding getting caught.

his first fight against noguera was epic. guess he thought why should he bother himself for 3 rounds, just go for the fast finish. probablz underestimated werdum a little :I

Like rac2 said, this really isn't how Fedor fights normally, at least not against BJJ fighters.

I do think he underestimated Werdum. Fedor looked more out of shape than usual and weighed in at only 229 pounds. The lightest he has been in a long time.

In a rematch Werdum will get smashed though I think.

did pretty much nothing in first 2 rounds. can't say rampage did a lot, but atleast he was the more agressive one and he had octagon control as he was almost all the time in the center

Rampage won my ass, could maybe give him round 2 but no way in hell he won round one, he was swinging at empty air and getting kicked and tagged in round one.

2-1 Machida win easily, he got robbed.

And being in center of Octagon means shit if you dont land anything...

MMA is, like boxing and many other martial arts, really boring to watch! :) Roling around in a ring, and if you are lucky you see a fight, but most of the time it's roling around.

K1 rules in martial arts (and not only because the dutch, and all other 'dutch', are the best :P).
