ok, but these situations are not seen as often as in sokker. so heading is, in my opinion, a (very!) secondary skill. am i right?

i say that, because in UM thinks are far to be settled. i saw too many situations when my 15 level tackle/15 level speed DEF stays still looking to a 7-8 level in tec/ 9-10 level in pace, who passes by and score undisturbed :)))

Heading concerns every high coming ball. So it should be a very important skill for every position. It has nothing to do with the heading itself. So a free standing striker with 20 shootingskill and 1 heading should have a good chance to score after a cross, but if a defender with, lets say 13, is standing ride beside him, the striker should have problems to reach the ball at all.

But I don't know when a player decides to play a ball high and how that does look like in the engine. I also wonder if a player with a skill of 13 in heading wins almost every headingduell against a player with 20 heading.XD

I too have sometimes problems with my 18-20 tackling/pace defenders, getting mocked by certainly worse players. With a low form of the keyplayers my team was nothing worth any more at the end of the season and they played as if having skills of around 10 at best.

As far as I know, it doesn't even need to be a high ball. Heading determines the duel when 2 players go for the same ball in the same spot IMO
