Froome reminds me of great climbers such as Rasmussen and Armstrong... if you know what I mean.

I think since Eddy Merckx (probably even before that) we know what you mean ;-)
For Germany for example: Ullrich just recently said he was doping (he said it like that: I had to do it, to have a chance), two of his strongest Domestiques/Equipieres Aldag and Bölts said they were doping during their Tour de France races they said that 10 years ago.
So there is still a possibility the strongest teams if not more of them are still doping.

Of course. Let's not be naive: fastest times of the Ax 3 Domaines:
1. Roberto Laiseka 22:57 2001
2. Lance Armstrong 22:59 2001
3. Chris Froome 23:14 2013
4. Jan Ullrich 23:17 2003
5. Haimar Zubeldia 23:19 2003
6. Jan Ullrich 23:22 2001
7. Lance Armstrong 23:24 2000
8. Alexandre Vinokourov 23:34 2003
9. Ivan Basso 23:36 2003
10. Lance Armstrong 23:40 2005
That really says it all.
Laiseka, Armstrong, Ullrich, Zubeldia, Vinokourov and Basso. Don't tell me Froome is clean. Sky is the new US Postal.

Here's a nice document, analysing the performances in the mountains of the tour winners since 1982. It shows that the sport is somewhat moving in the right direction, but there is still a lot to do. It's in german, but the numbers and colours should make it clear anyway.
grey = rather unsuspicious
light blue = suspicious
dark blue = very suspicious
red = supernatural :D (also called Indurain style :p)

David Walsh first person that suspected armstrong from doping
and that without going in to the same hotel as armstrong

That really says nothing at all... Come back with figures about Watt/kg, when in the tour AX3 domaines was scheduled (first week-third week), when in the stage AX 3 domaines was scheduled (in the beginning, at the end with the finish on top, ...), ...

I know :D It was a joke..(yea, bad one) ;)
I hope they are clean, because of cycling credit is too low after Armstrong's cause...

We will probably see in 5-10 years. Then some can say "I said so all along" and the others have to be deeply ashamed.
You know, it would be great, if there were no more doping involved.

Quick Step's team leader said yesterday that they had made a deal with Belkin to do this (Quick Step and Belkin slept in the same hotel). Great move to avoid a boring stage :-)
Belkin? :O they just worked together with OPQS and then Mollema and Ten Dam didn't work too much in the lead group...
but Saxo maked Tour more interesting again :)
