It seems that we have a much living game here(even some people allways cry for his dying)without activity of devs, that this new one with a lot of passionate devs :D
I think you explained well the situation:they could copy alot of this game's valued implementations, could make there better image of site, user friendly things, anything, could take the body but never could take the soul of this game, things that we experienced from long years ago.

PS:ila-a, don't trust on translates from hungarian forum, i'm not for your project and until i am promoter of this game i will fight for sokker users, to get them here and keep them here, noway for leaving this game for another.
And i will fight to be closed all threads of other games that spammes our sokker dedicated principal forums, if not will be opened on freestyle!

I called you a troll kingbuur since you acted like one, you called me a bullshitter, and that i don't care about Sokker. I never ever said that i was leaving for one.

Around 350 people have signed up, and around 5 people have been telling me that the game will not succeed. I love those posts =) I guess the time will show if our concept will be good or not.

Borkos007, the game will be NEW and be inspired by Sokker, that is good enough. The best parts are good, but the rest is outdated and not good at all, so we are not interested in them anyway since the devs either destroyed them, or didn't develop them enough.

This is totally wrong, the coders that will have time, and we pick, will be part of the project. I don't know about your knowledge in those process, but other roles will be equally important, if there is no project, or game concept.. then there is nothing to code. And that is nothing you create over a night! And later, you have to work on the design as well.. and keep on working on maintenance and development all the time while they code.. so everyone works all the time.

We are looking for coders to be part of the team, but we are all volunteers in the beginning until release. I know many teams working from different countries and that managed to succeed by working remote.

Anyway, we are happy that there is a discussion now, and also interesting to read others thoughts. Keep them coming!

I-zsolt, i will not leave Sokker either, but i will try to create a new game for the community if this one dies.
Talking about this is useless right now, since there is no game for others to leave to (We wouldn't promote that). Lets see what the future holds for us.

Ila is doing a NEW game, you can play both.

I can't understand critics about "sokker vs ila's project" because there's no need to put them on esclusive alternative choices.
i can't understand critics about money and free work, until he's only asking without any trick. If you like you give or work, if you do not you can only play..

I simply think some user are a little blinded about sokker. Is it diyng? Who cares? We can have something similar to try.. Let's try it.

I don't opposing discusses about other similar games here (and i don't think Sokker is on ending period) and nobody restricted here to users to play other manager games.
I just wanna see our forums arranged, every post in his own place...and i find this a thread out of actual Sokker game.
I offenced just the fact that another game is promoted from inside of this one on principal forums.
But maybe the better solution is to make aswel:i'll go there and i will spread promo of sokker on every principal threads of this new game after they get a number bigger of newbies.Eh, that i don't think, they will like...

the only thing needed is volunteers to know if they are paid or not ..

Good question :) But not sure if you get an answer because it's up to them and the deals they make ;)

And will staff get paid? I get nothing from greg for all my hard work as active staff, mods and admins do get something, free Plus as some 'payment' (it's not much, but it is something and 100% more as all linguists, promoters and tutors get for their work).
