They're not deleted, they're just inactive. greg is focused on different projects, as far as I know.

Damian is still the owner of the site according to register info so probably both of them(brothers i think) just deleted and created some new account or just manage the game from some admin account.

@väinamöinen You only need to torch Barburki street in Warsaw coz thats where the headquarter is.

Good, wouldnt want to torch Krakow. But yeah, 1 street in Warsaw, that's fine :p

Count me in. Although the problem is not creating a new game (I know thats hard and takes time). The problem will be bringing and KEEPING thousands of managers interested in the game. Nowadays there are many good games like sokker (with match viewer and nice graphics) but with few managers in it. Some people say games like these are obsolete, I disagree, but anyway, I submitted the info asked in that page. Its always good to try new stuff.

Thank you El-Dorado for the support, we will try our best to make a new game that attracts users, and keep them for a long while hopefully =) We have a great concept going on!

Don't you get it, borkos? Sokker, with more users than all sokker-like managers created since then combined, is dead ;)

I share your analysis and your lack of optimism about any new online managers along these lines. But if they want to try, it costs me nothing, so go ahead and good luck with Football Strategy 2!

PS: I didn't understand the discussion about greg and damian "deleted", since their users remain where they've always been.

Actually the most successful "sokker-like" game (soccer game with match viewer) on the web is managerzone, it has hundred of thousands of active managers and its pretty much alive. They also have a hockey game with match viewer too. But the match engine is crap, and the best teams are only on top because they buy and sell players non-stop. So its not really a soccer game, more like a buy/sell game, because there is not much strategy/tactic involved either in the crappy match engine.

I mean, the graphics look awesome, but the match engine is crap and players play like retards lol. So in terms of match engine sokker is superior than managerzone, but in terms of success, managerzone is the most successful soccer game with match viewer, but it sucks in my personal opinion.

If anyone is going to create a new "sokker" game, then they should take notes on what managerzone did right in terms of community and advertising, etc. But the match engine should be like sokker's or footballstrategy's.

So not really Sokker-like ;)

I see your point in any case.

i know almost all of them
the viewers are puppet show, only sokker can show us the training skills and tactik in the field
there is no manager soccer game like this one
and football is just this.....tactik and players and how we can win and what strategy we will follow
we no need any beatifull puppet show viewer
but ofc if someone can combine those things he will succed

The interesting thing IMHO, is that we should watch what sokker has, and what it HAS NOT.
Ultimate Manager, for example, was far more accurate than sokker in transposition of tactic to the live match.
But this was one of the thing that make it collapse.
This experience (IMHO) made me think that a good game match engine should NOT HAVE:
-double tactic (with ball and without)
-individual order executed precisely and in order by players
-the possibility to train players to "god" skill (all primary skills by positions to the maximum, this is a flaw in sokker too...)

And there was big problems even in economy and training..
So I think the analisys of other games failed is useful to understand that a game first of all should be playable with fun and challenging.
