No posts of mine on page 18, 17, 16, 15 (if you count the last post on the next page as page 14) ;)
And yes, it looks a bit messy the tulipfields. Making a rainbow would have been more beautiful, but we have tulips! Lots of them. And also many flower bulbs.
To answer your comment, yes there are green tulips. Almost in every color, only black was really difficult to grow. Still looks dark purple to me.

And we have churches, many are being rebuild for housing. Church is not that intersting anymore now that we know more, many people have changed, so empty buildings. Not sure if this is the Netherlands, but it is a nice home:

And about the brains, well, the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (VOC) was the first multinational, and the first with stocks. After that many followed. Dumb people can't do that. BUT, a big BUT, VOC isn't really a popular term and not really something to be proud of, at this moment with it's history and the demonstrations against racism :/

There was also the West-Indische Compagnie, they travelled the other way.
Statues of this part of our history are in trouble right now, what to do with it. I think the Dutch solution is a good one, learn from your history. On the other hand, statues are places to present an ideology. Do we still agree these 'hero's' of our past are part of our current ideology?? Don't think so.
Back ontopic, during these days christianity is also forced on many people, the Colonialists. Another 'proud' moment of christianity in it's history of oppressing, stealing, lying and murdering. Lying, yes lying because what else would we call 'paying money for a place in heaven'? That is a double lie.
Anyway, visiting Finland, I don't know. I always had something with Sweden, my family was into wood, many wood came from Sweden, so it's a child thing.
