Subject: Sokker vs Hattrick

So far, Hattrick stands above Sokker in every aspect.

how the heck did you come to that conclusion? are you drunk?

Show some respect for someone else's opinion. You don't have to agree, but you can voice your disagreement without being offensive.

So far, Hattrick stands above Sokker in every aspect.

Now, realistically, you can't put both games in the balance cause they have their own thing going on. One has features that the other one doesn't.

First of all, I think these two statements collide with each other. Either they are comparable, or they aren't.... You gotta choose.

BTW, the fact that HT is around for a longer time, doesn't mean it's better.

I don't want to say "choose sokker!!!". I'm just sayng that, as far as I'm concerned, sokker is more addictive than HT. HT has a lot of gadgets, as its developers are focused on them more than on game engine, sokker is a frill-less soccer simulation. This obviously iMHO.

I hope Sokker woun't be like HT in the future......

Sokker is 5 years ahead from Hattrick. A whole generation in games world.

I would say that if HT is like PlayStation, Sokker is is like PS2.

Personally i tried HT... I didnt have either the time or couldnt be bothered to learn how to play HT. Sk is so much better :)... players also have their good and bad days too :-/

HT is like an old-style RPG. All actions are text-based, so you must be very imaginative if you decide to "watch" the live game.

And there are the unrealistic features: what means "passing", if it doesn´t counts on ball possess, for instance?

That´s why I quit the game two years ago (as soon as I knew Sokker), after playing for almost three years.

I think that most of the people here hating on Hattrick are all the ones who went bankrupt and could not pull together a decent team.
I've been playing it for a year and a half and I've managing my team great.
2006-12-27 17:13:54
I think you are totally wrong.
2006-12-27 17:20:55
That's all I've read on this topic.
"Can't manage my team"
"My team went 3 times bankrupt"

Somebody whos been playing hattrick for a long time, knows much better than to trash it.

Not only that, but a person like that would give benifit to both games... You can't just trash a game like Hattrick! Unless you sucked at it!

Unless you sucked at it!

Lol, my cousin quited with HT when he was NT coach of Belgium and champion of first division. Alot of high ranked teams stopted in the last seasons because of to boring.

I never went bankrupt. I managed to promote 3 times consequently. But I still prefer sokker to HT. Am I strange?

im still on HT and find it boring, but i just log in once or twice a week to make sure nothing bad happened, and IMO thats all anyone needs to do to be succesful, but this takes time, i need to see how opponents play, what are their weak/strong areas and how can i expose/defend that with a decent tactic.

on HT you play 352, buy some young mids with decent secondaries, train for 4 seasons, sell 3 of your trainees, increase your other areas of the pitch with the proceeds and then buy 3 young mids and so on and so on.

hattrcim has become more of a place to if you want to pay, then you can get benefits from other things, b ut nothing actually makes it a good game, just a decent bit of text to mess around wth that twice a week chucks some numbers into an equation and comes up with a result and hey presto there you go

I never went bankrupt and did quite well in the game. Probably better than most of the players in Sokker England.
The lack of growth in the game bored me.

Each year ExtraLives tweaks some formulae and does very little to the game.
To get excited by a new youth system that is two seasons off is pretty naive. They haven't written it yet.

Based on "recent" "additions" everybody should stay well clear of it until every other mug has beta tested it in the first half of a season.

HT sucks and I'm not bad at it :)
(being first now whitout even having to do much).
SK has much more in it.

Other than me of course ;).
