As I understood correctly, the new Total Recall is based more on the book written by Philip K. Dick "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale".

I'm downloading the torrent right now. Loved the old Total Recall, hope this one isn't a disappointment :/

edit: ready to watch, I have something to do today :) Way to cold outside to leave my home.

Btw, I ran out of decent fantasy movies, so suggestions are welcome :)

No idea if this is what you like or already seen it, but I liked it :)

Dark City

EDIT: or search in IMDb with 'People who liked this also liked...' starting with a movie title you really liked.

Not a book, but a short-story. I was a big fan of Philip K. Dick when I was a teenager, read almost all of his works and started to collect all movies based on his books. Don't know if I want to watch the new Total Recall, though, seems like a totally unnecessary remake.

Yeh your right, it's based on a short story of his :)

And I'm not really a great fan of remakes, but some are good. 'Unfortunatly' my new girlfriend also want to watch Total Recall (YES, found a girl who also likes Sci-Fi, Fantasy and that kind of genre, great! :D) so I have deleted Total Recall from my pc so I don't have the temptation to watch it sooner :P Strangly enough she doesn't like Marvel so now I'm dowloading the few Marvel movies I haven't seen yet.

I can beat you, the girl I'm sort of hanging out with likes to play Assassins Creed :P

I know a girl who plays computer/PS3 games only to get laid. so I wouldn´t use "likes to play" when talking about girls and games..

dunno, the one I'm talking about is pretty hot, so I wouldn't expect such a devious / pathetic scheme from her :P

Ok you win :P Although I think watching movies together is more fun as playing games, because both hands need to be used for gaming and not when watching movies ... ;D

Anyone here beside me who didn`t like the new Bond movie? In IMDB the average rating is high 8.1, but I would give 5/10. I have always liked JBond movies, but for some reason the ones with Craig are not for my taste.

Went and saw it last night. Thought it was a good movie, some parts of it could have been covered more thoroughly though.

All in all I liked all Daniel Craig James Bond movies better than the average James Bond movies. Still think Casino Royale was the best one so far.

Well, I liked the fact they did some stuff I didnt expect (to avoid spoilers: in the chapel), liked the set up, and some details (like his car :p) but they did a couple of things which were 'meeeh'. I mean, come on, given the place where the chapel is; I'd expect an accent for the guy who lives there ... the helicopter part also was ridiculous, ... :)
