I saw quite a lot movies last weeks. Some of then i have to recommend to some of you.

Kahaani (2012)
Saw this one yesterday. Its the best Bollywood movie by far, as far as i know. Its about a pregnant woman from London, who is searching for her husband in India. I was 'flabbergasted' (that means something like 'suprised').
IMDB-stars: I gave 9*

50/50 (2011)
Good serious movie with a serious subject, but they made good part of comedy (Seth Rogen of course). Some parts are emotionally also. Its about a man (Jospeh Gordon-Levitt) who has 50 percent surviving oppurtunity.
IMDB-stars: I gave 9*

Precious (2009)
Most people will like this movie. Especially the story. A quite fat girl is pregnant of her second child while she is 16. She leads not a very happy life if you ask me.
IMDB-stars: I gave 9*

500 Days of summer (2009).
Romantic movie, so you have to like that:
IMDB-stars: I gave 8*

Gran Torino (2008).
Old War veteran is the last american in his neighbourhood. He is an angry man, until his neighbour want to steal his car, a Gran Torino:
IMDB-stars: I gave 8*

Felon (2008)
Movie about the weird law in america when someone break into your house, and about the hard world in prison:
IMDB-stars: I gave 8*

Delivery man(2013)
Sperm donor has 533 children and 142 wants to meet him:
IMDB-stars: I gave 8*

Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema (2008)
This movie is made in Johannesburg in SouthAfrica. I begin to like movies that arent from hollywood more and more. This one is about a criminal who grow up there.
IMDB-stars: I gave 7*

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008).
This man begins with a 80year old look and gets younger instead of older:
IMDB-stars: I gave 7*

I am really interested what you think about these films if you saw them already or if you watched them after my recommendation.

About A million ways => it's typical MacFarlane humour, loved it.
Story is rubbish, but that was to be expected :) It's a comedy after all.

really nice list :)
I`ve seen like half of those, and I must say almost every single one was good
2014-07-12 21:17:31
I`ve seen all of those because most of them are in tv several times a belive i didnt watch the first one
2014-07-12 21:19:09
50/50 is the best:)
2014-07-12 22:46:24
Wow, I only have a few 9's in my overall movie list. A movie has to be really unforgettable special before I give it a 9.

I have a watchlist of 608 movies.
10 of them rated with a 10*
32 with a 9*
126 with a 8*
171 with a 7*
121 with a 6*
62 with a 5*
38 with a 4*
26 with a 3*
14 with a 2*
8 with a 1*

So yeah, I think i give high ratings overall. But its just an opinion. Tastes are different and i just like the highrated movies. And i also know myself that sometimes you give just higher rating because you are in the mood.

if you could paste them here will bee great
2014-07-13 19:45:19
Yes I would like to see your list as well, always on the hunt for some good movies I may have missed or went under the radar
2014-07-13 21:41:55
That is indeed a lot higher as my ratings. I have 755 movies rated (only 755 I have to say because I still have to rate many that I haven't rated yet :/), and only one 10 - Pulp Fiction - and five 9's in my list - The Matrix, Trainspotting, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Akira (1988) -
