as a book reader, i was really disappointed...i expected much more from the final 2-3 episodes
episodes 2 and 6 were really good, but they screwed so badly in the next ones..

Never read the books, so I can't compare and can't be disappointed by it then.

Love the show!

anyone watched the pilot for TheFlash already?
2014-07-13 15:21:49
Yeah

I like how they connected it with Arrow

that was to be expected as he appeared in Arrow already (not as Flash at that mment though).
I wonder what they mean with the last scene [SPOILER ALERT] ...

the cripled dude is not cripled and seems to be able to time travel => professor Zoom? But than they move towards a story arc with characters of which they don't own the rights if I'm not mistaken ...

Two days ago finished watching Breaking Bad. For some reason I thought the show was 6 seasons long, but 2 episodes before the end of season 5 I found out I was wrong:) BB is one of the best tv shows I have ever seen. I discovered it about 6 months ago. Also my gf liked it alot.

Anyone can suggest something new to watch?

Entourage
Shameless (USA)

Or if you still want to see more drugs and violence: The wire

depends what you want

comedy? drama? action?

Actually genre doesn`t matter. She hates sci-fi, which is my favourite - so everything beside that. Genre should be something similar to Breaking Bad. It has to be interesting... But I guess it´s matter of taste.

What kind of Sci-Fi doesn't she like? I like Orphan Black. It says SciFi, but has nothing to do with out-of-space, freaky robots , strange guns&machines etc.

the wire is much better - for me. breaking bad is so comercial and overrated imho

Or the Hunger Games, and there are many more Sci-Fi movies which girls probably also like because it aren't all space mutant fights :)

EDIT: Another Earth (2011) is a good example of a movie listed as Sci-Fi but isn't really Sci-Fi, more just drama romance.
