I know most of the Flash history (I don't know the comics, but I have some comiholic friends). Mind that there are differences between the comics and the series (e.g. as who is Zoom)
My wtf moment is that Wells = Zoom = reverse Flash. How can he both be in his chair AND caught in the force field? Even with his hyperspeed, that's not possible?

Remember the end of episode? Cisco(Xisco) says to Iris's father that there are 2 "speedsters", so I guess we should find out later about that. But this could answer your question.
Yes, but there is yellow and red lightning.
Yellow is Zoom (probably after going back in time)
Red is the same colour as the flash. So it's likely there was an older flash (maybe his dad) there that night, trying to defend both Barry and his mother.
Oh, and Ronny's gone pretty bad ass too. Ok, he can torch himself. But wow, he can use it to fly? :o

About the yellow and red lightning I thought the same as you, older flash +zoom.
Maybe Dr Wells used a manequin on the suit so there would be a yellow dude and wells at the same time. I mean in the end he puts a device on his yllow suit and says Merry Christmas. I mean he's from the future, maybe it's and AI. He is doing requests about the future in earlier episodes, maybe the suit was AI controlled.

I didn`t read last comments, afraid to find anything to ruin the element of surprise. But the last episode was awesome. Flash is one of the few comic book heroes I am not very familiar to.
There aren't really any surprises, just some info to clarify some stuff people may consider strange/dubious or that can make them go : WTF!

Just finished watching The League. It is now my favorite comedy series (although I still love It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
