yes and no. i am of the opinion if you get a player who has no unsatisfactorys in his main skills (obv not GK) then he is very talented. you could exepct a pop every 3 weeks with a possabilty of 2. So in the long run not that bad.....
he was a goalkeeper in the youths mate lol
i honestly dont have a clue what his talent was at all - feel free to snaffle him up for £2 and make him a star tho lol

a couple of youths from my academy.
Been waiting on this magic trio of trainees ever since i knew all 3 of them would end up as 18 year old pulls with Incredible+ skill.
This guy came out last week. A bit of a disapointment. Was Outstanding +4 (i know for a fact that his talent is sub 4 from the old youth system, so he should be an Incredible pull):
Bart Gilbert, age: 18
club: St Johnstone, country: Scotland
value: 60 450 £, wage: 810 £
very good form, unsatisfactory tactical discipline
height: 171 cm
adequate stamina hopeless keeper
adequate pace very good defender
poor technique very good playmaker
hopeless passing tragic striker
He popped in tech today to weak.
------------------------
This lad had the most potential to be an uber pull.
He arrived in the youth school as a good +30 and popped after 4 weeks then 3 weeks (before the system changed), so his talent was sub 4.
I worked out that he would be born somewhere between Brilliant +3 and Unearthly +2 depending on his exact talent (in the range of 3.1 - 3.9)
He ended up as a Brilliant +5 in the new system.
Looking at his pops over his whole youth training, i think he came out as Magical +0 with a talent of 3.75.
And after that build up, here he is:
Eddie Scobie, age: 18
club: St Johnstone, country: Scotland
value: 105 000 £, wage: 1 275 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline
height: 186 cm
unsatisfactory stamina weak keeper
good pace poor defender
excellent technique very good playmaker
adequate passing excellent striker
I had been following him quite closely in the youth leagues, and i guessed he was tech and PM loaded with middley pace and passing. I just thought he was crap at striking ;)
Watch out for the final lad in my trio of youths, Pat Kenneth. He started out as Average+31, but has been popping really well and might make brilliant (fingers crossed).
